One of those Huracans passed me on the right one night in Las Vegas while decelerating sharply and I actually checked my car's paint for damage, so much noise and flame came out of the damn thing. Could not have been stock!

That wing on the Performante definitely plays a role at those speeds. That’s why the McLaren catches back up around 140-150 mph.

So, what is the result? In the first race, did the Lambo miss a gear? It seems to me if we are talking about a 1/4 mile, the Performante might actually have the 12C beat, but anything beyond that like for most turbocharged cars the 12C has the top end advantage and will eventually pass the Performante. Also, I might be wrong, but I thought I saw it in one of your past videos that your 12C friend said the turbo mod in his car was up to stage 2 already? Anyway, great race all the same!! It would be interesting to dyno the Performante though. In Parker's (Vehicle Virgins) review of the VF Hypercharged Performante, he said the car had 875 HP (as opposed to 805 HP for the VF800 package) at the crank on pump gas and with race fuel it should be over 900 HP.

If the 12c hadn't bounced off the limiter it would be a tie or a win for the 12c

Not surprised to see the blower on the lambo didn't do it a lot of good. There just isn't much improvement to be made from 0-150 MPH. It probably helps on the top end, though. That 12c sounds like it means business.

The most impressive thing about these videos is how those Go Pros don't come flying off at 150 + mph

Than a tap of the rev-limiter for the 12C on run 2! Oops! Man they’re so close though!

They are quite even in my opinion

12C with Pure Turbos on meth & race gas produces 833whp @ 24psi. The Performante supercharger on 91 pump gas makes 640awhp @6psi. Plus the 12C weighs 100lbs less too. However, both cars will run a high 9 and the Performante will trap higher. Lastly, the Performante will still be worth $345K or more in 2023 and the 12C under $100K. Choose wisely!

Haven’t watched it yet...but I gotta say I’d rather have VF SC Lambo than just about any other mod for that car! Such an all around performer 😍. And...favorite McLaren has got to be THIS 12C! With all the visual & power mods, it has everything...speed, looks and that sound missing from newer models 🤤. Ok on to the car porn! 🤪😆.
