I've been binge-watching your cooks. AND we could be taste-twins. I am the same way about low-fat, low-sodium, low-cal and all that mess cuzzz I figure by the time they've extracted it from the regular form, they added 10 other things that I can't even pronounce to the mix. I'm loving your style.
Yes!.. These are just like hush puppies but a little bit lighter… And I think frying them up in little patties probably changes the texture in that the crust in patty form is a little lighter than a hush puppy… but all in all it’s another take on hush puppy batter
@@christine1962ful These need to be fried in oil to make the crust right… I think the air fryer would dry them out in the middle and you can’t achieve that beautiful heavy crust 😊
@@inthekitchenwithtallifaye4724 Thanks for replying. I don't even know what hush puppys are! Looool. I'm from the UK. I'm following a fatfree diet as I'm trying to reduce my calorie intake aato drop a few pounds but eating high carb. This looked so delicious !!!
Tallie you are fine just the way you are. I'm sure Ole Buzz don't mind at all and the video is perfect. Don't you change a thing. It's Not too long. I love your instruction and explaining. I've tried so many new recipes since watching you
They look so good. I would like to add minced clams to that batter and try it. It reminds me of the clam fritters we ate on the beaches in Rhode Island one summer. Thanks.
Miss Talli Faye. I am new to your channel. I might have found you a couple of days from a week ago. Your channel is blowing up! I am sure you were just at 14k. I think most people see what I do. I haven't seen anything you made that I wouldn't 💕 love. Thank you for everything you do. This is how normal cooks cook.
I make something very similar to this, but, I add whole kernel corn, & use green onions with tops, chopped finely. They taste like kicked up hushpuppies . Yum!
Those look absolutely delicious. New subscriber here. Your Rotel gravy meatball, potato stew looked wonderful. That's what made me watch for the first time. 😊
Thank you for yet another winner recipe. Made these today with some homemade chili beans with beef. Perfection! Love your chanel and presentation. You are truly an original❤
Good morning Miss Talli Faye! I am up and will get to church this morning. It is so pretty here in central Cali after this storm. I love fritters of all kinds. Zucchini, corn, clam, and this onion looks great. I seldom use cornmeal though. I also would put in a little sugar for corn. Also green onion. I hope to see some recipes w ham coming soon! Just sayin :) Karla in Cali.
That’s OK she’s messing with her hair and touching her face and everything. I mean she’s cooking for her husband and her. It’s not like she’s in a restaurant OK people if you don’t wanna watch don’t I like watching her cook? She does a wonderful job and it’s all easy and fast.
Hi tallie Fay Looks delicious And don't think about your hair I love you with the love of the lord just the way you are Please remember my family in prayer My heart is hurting and I just need all the prayer we can get because I fo know the power of prayer Thank you for sharing
Well hi my dear friend. Oh my gosh I’m here for another great video and some great cornbread hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy and Debbie. Thanks so much for sharing my dear friend for videos back to back. I really am enjoying how you put your videos together.
Hey Tallie Fay, I live in NM and it's always windy here, we NEVER have a good hair day here, so you'd feel right at home . love the name Tallie Faye. however never heard of fried corn bread gotta try em!
Good morning 😊… this recipe in particular doesn’t have any baking powder… it’s kinda like a hot water cornbread texture but made with buttermilk. The buttermilk gives it a slight rise but leaves it moist where it won’t crumble like regular cornbread does 😊
@@inthekitchenwithtallifaye4724 Thank you Miss Talli Faye. Now I can make your delicious looking recipe. And by the way, I found and bought the boots you are wearing. You are right, they’re very comfortable. Love them!
Just made these. Next time I'll have to double it. Handed one to my husband, took a bite and his eyes lit up! He actually asked me who have I been talking to lol
I wasn’t sure myself why this recipe in particular called for low-fat… Buttermilk has acid in it which helps make them puff up so I really don’t think it matters that much other than the batter is already thick so the low fat is a thinner liquid so with me using the whole buttermilk just that little tad of water added helped it to not be quite so thick 😊
Nothing wrong with your hair Talli! It's casual as it should be at home and quite sexy looking I think! And don't let anybody talk you into cutting your hair until you're ready to do it. 🙄
I am over 80 years old and never heard of putting flour in your cornbread until I started watching these vidos. Can someone tell me the reason for doing this?
I know… My grandmother didn’t either… I guess it just evolved into that… Adding flour to the mixture just makes the bread a slightly cake like texture… It doesn’t crumble as much…I always add half the measurement of flour to the meal…
Yes it basically is!😊… They’re just a touch lighter and spreading them out in patties is what makes’m a slightly different texture but otherwise it’d make great hush puppies!.. especially with some other goodies chopped up and added!😊
All white people do that even at restaurants especially pizza makers they will touch their nose and everything that's white people shit but I'll try that recipe
