Hello Dr. I am in India, I have a corneal scar which is sub epithelial , it affects my vision on my left eye. I need to know my options, people here in india say that corneal transplant is the only solution but with stem cell research and your techniques, what are my options.

I just saw an ophthalmologist in Tampa, Fl. And my options were given to me by what I want I spend. As soon at my notes available would love yr opinion. I was told that my RK back in 1993 has now left me with a wavy cornea and told I also have cataracts. Basically I can have laser guided cataract surgery and I think I would still need contact lenses , not glasses, so the contact lens will cover cornea for better vision. I just want to not do something that may not be my best option.
