Cornel West - The Historical Philosophy of W.E.B. Du Bois - Class 9 

What an absolute pleasure to listen Mr. West. I'm surprised he isn't mentioned more in "general culture." I had only heard of him a couple of times but I never knew how intelligent, wise, and accomplished he is. I'll be reading his book "Race Matters." Also, thanks to David Blight from Yale because it was listening to his lectures on the civil war that I was introduced to Du Bois's book and subsequently found Cornel West's lecture on the book. David said that all American citizens should be required to read the souls of black folk and now I understand why.

thank you Cornel and Dartmouth for these beautiful lectures. They've been a true pleasure to watch, learn and study alongside.

What a privillage for those kids to have sat through this wonderful lecture.
