Dent removal is oddly soothing, and satisfying. It's like watching painting, or a fire burning. And then it ends, and you think 20 minutes isn't enough! 😁

So, has anyone ever told you that you are like the Bob Ross of brass repair? Your work is so peaceful, so honest, so artful.

I always learn so much with your videos. I may never repair for a living, but it's giving me courage to try to replace an inner tube slide on a trombone that I picked up for cheap. If only I could find the appropriate tube! lol

A perfect example of a law of physics....energy can be neither created nor destroyed. The exact same energy, though likely one time and forceful..that put in the dents, had to be exactly counterbalanced in removing them, to bring it back to "normal" equilibrium. All the different angles and dent removal approaches Art is using literally counteract the forces placed upon that bell.... perfectly. Every video is unique and amazing, Art. But this was zen-like! And yes, loved seeing you jump on the workbench! You're a true New Yorker! 😂 Makin it work!!

It would be cool to see a before and after picture at the end of the dent videos so we can see exactly how it looked at the beginning and the end of the day's work. Oh, and I was disappointed not to get to see ironing of dents, though I assume we'll have an opportunity at some point.

Do You have and use the bell half moon mandrels for the bell rim dents? Or do You always use dent hammers and burnishers to raise the dents?

I do not have a bell half moon mandrel. I have always used the roller, dent hammers, burnishers, and sometimes the trumpet bell flare mandrel in conjunction with a rubber mallet.
