Here I am at home on a thursday night trying to sleep when I hear someone's car blasting Coro songs from the 90s Where are you tonight. I was in my 20s following this singer at Club 1018 and Roseland bought all of his records and DJ at home for myself and family blasting his music from my apt. In Brooklyn waking up my neighbor with no regrets and driving my old Honda car with the pull and carry home radio so it would not be stolen. I'm in my 50s and when I play freestyle music I'm 20 years old again singing and dancing. If only I could teleport back to the 80s and 90s so much fun.
As far all all freestyle artists are concerned, Coro will ALWAYS be the BEST performer of them all hands down. I'm a TKA/K7, George Lamond, Judy Torres and Cynthia fan, as a performer, CORO will always be KING!! Thank you for all your hard work! Till this day, even Jlo gives you props!!!!!!
I remember I saw him when I was 18 in Florida, and now I am 47. He is still awesome even now. Thanks Coro. You made those years awesome for me clubbing.

I'm 51, I have been in Miami 48 years. I grew up with freestyle and also with a few members of Nice & Wild as my friends. I also have personal friendships with Rudy Gil and Judy Torres. So many freestyle singers are so talented yet not recognized for it. But, it's ok if we keep listening, participating, and wanting more from them freestyle will live forever. Freestyle will never die !!!
Coro i rember him way back from mission gardens club in fremont ca. he performed there hes a beautful person !❤at the time i was a youngster chola og now 41 thanks for keeping my lowrider days happy coro u still da bomb i still bump ur music
It's funny Coro first started in TV (He was in numerous episodes of Miami Vice) then he met Stevie B and became a background singer / Dancer and once he moved back to NY he took off with his career. The Dominican / Cuban singer still has it ! don't know why most of them who still have their singing voices decide to use backing vocal tracks instead of singing live. I know that most of them use the original club versions because they probably don't have access to the studio masters which would then remove the vocals because god knows where all these masters are.
OMG I absolutely LOVE Coro and I cannot find a CD of him I went through 2 cassette tapes in the 80's and 90's and when they wore out I couldn't find another one anywhere and STILL can't! 💗💗💗💗💗
Proud to be one of Pilsens finest 💛 Chicago's Westside 🏙️ 18th & Oakley 🇬🇹💪😎👊 House 🏠 music and freestyle for Life 📻🎼🎵🎶🎵🎧 Amor 💖 Heartthrob Por Vida, Por Vida....

Nothing like it used to be. I grew up listening 2 freestyle in English and Spanish. As a teenager I got into listening to some music from Brazil. And just recently I heard some funk melodies in Portuguese from the 80's & 90's. I actually didn't realize that it was so popular in your country. Knowing that now listening to some funk from Brazil I can see where it definitely has influenced it.
