Did Martin and Rebecca ever get any work done? Always sneaking off to discuss their affair and talk about how much they love each other and how tough it is for them to be liars and cheats yet never actually talk about what they have in common or what it is that is so special about their tawdry affair. Not one of Corrie's finest storylines that's for sure. 😂 Thanks again for sharing though, it's a trip down memory lane watching these. Always a pleasure, I say always a pleasure! 🤪❤😄
Most of these short-lived relationships never develop any depth and only seem to be based on initial physical attraction. Kevin and Natalie's affair is a perfect example of this. That's why I don't expect Natalie and Vinnie to last much longer. They have nothing in common either.

Well Dev is the only one who sees Amy for what she is. It is kind of interesting when nearly everybody thinks a pretty female is nice and can do no wrong and only one or two people see her for the cow she really is. Later Richard Hillman is like by everybody except Audrey and Norris. When Norris even suggested to that Richard Hillman was the culprit who killed Maxine he threw her out of the house. I thought Emily used bully Norris quite frankly. Emily took advantage of the fact that she was liked and well respected which I believe is devious. As for Ashley he was nasty to Ken Barlow just because Ken thought Aiden Critchley was innocent. Quite frankly I thought Ashley was a bit sour-face and worse than the character of Eva Price.
I hope I'm as glamorous as Rita, Audrey, and Alma when I'm their age, mind you I'm not glamorous now so it might be a problem, also I'm quarter Italian so I have no excuse really. Also the Fred storyline 🤣🤣🤣🤣 bet he didn't realise he'd be caught with his own escort months later

Norris used to make me fall about laughing when he used to run rings around poor Derek! I still could never quite tell if he was as ditzy as he made out or was as sly as a fox! He certainly comes up with brilliant ideas & is so enthusiastic & work orientated I bet Reet thanks her lucky stars She hired him for the Kabin! Wow that Amy was really Loony Tunes! Its a wonder they havent placed Corrie in Newcastle! It started with a few extras in the pub, then it was the police who were nearly all Geordies Then it was hospital staff If not Geordies it was actors from Hartlepool, wearside etc Its amazing to see a very young Jill Halfpenny as Martins romantic interest!& a Geordie too. Jill has had many roles in tv shows over the years You also had Des Barns from Hartlepool, Denise whos from Newcastle Wonder whos next from Geordie land? Cheers 🇬🇧👧
@@EveHenleySpread Ive just ended my marathon Corrie viewing & it was thanks to yourself, Professional Gun & Auntie Corrie but the May 2000 was the only one i could find & by Belgian Corrie Fan or something but the quality of the episodes was awful, sort of jittery & kinda out of synch so i ended it Not going to watch anymore! Couldnt stand that wierd jittery thing, so thats it! End of the line At least ive watched the best of Corrie... wont know how Gail handled Martins betrayal, what sex was Sarah Louises baby Did Jez Quigley stay incarcerated or get out? Did someone do him in? What happened to Mike & Linda? Or Mark? Did Sal & Danny get hitched? What did creepy Allison have? A boy or girl or an alien? What happened to the Battersbys Etc etc... i'll just have to be content with all the great episodes from yourself & PG & the old black & white ones fr auntie Corrie. I have read the Ben Price who began playing Nick TIlsley at the end of 2009 was born in Newcastle in 1972. Also Bill ward who played Charlie Stubbs was born in Newcastle in 1967.
I think BelgianCorrieFan's videos improved a little as he carried on, his recent ones certainly aren't anywhere near as bad if you wanted to pick it up again! ;-)

In fact, the actor who played Bob Bradshaw was only 9 when the Coronation took place...2:08:50 “Last time I asked a girl out was at the Queen’s Coronation” That was 1953 47 years before this episode. Let’s assume he was 20 when he “asked the girl out” (as he did marry whoever it was) that would make him 67 in this episode. He definitely doesn’t look like he is approaching 70…. Poor choice of lines for that actor…
The Alkie Gwen reminds me of a combination of a gingery Alma, Part Maureen Holdsworth, & some other Corrie female i cant quite put my finger on! She doesnt quite gel within the gang of machinists somehow & Doesnt come over the way the others do.. something missing somehow. Theres something very creepy about Kevs Allison !! I half thought she was pulling a stunt saying she was pregnant Im still unsure Theres something "off" about her Shes not very likeable & has this Hidden " hysterical" side & shes too twee & insipid, not Kevs type at all! Aisling is clearly unstable and Kevin saying he loves her never rings true .Seems like her attraction is her dough like quality, easier to mold and control than Sally or Natalie. ( is it Alison actually?)
@@marjoriejohnston3038 Lol, yes the part the actress Played was indeed, Allison. I kind of felt compassion for her as she had been raised by stupid parents who caused her to have survivor guilt. Poor Allison was bound to have mental anxiety with that label round your neck! Some parents have such alot to answer for! I actually stopped watching Corrie in 2000 as EveHenlySpread * ( a play on words meaning Evenly Spread) Stopped uploading them. The next provider Belgium Corrie Fans episodes were dreadful quality & to be honest by them id had enough! It took me nearly 5 solid months to rewatch every single episode from 1960 to 2000 I actually remember quite well, watching the very 1st episode with my Mum & Dad, i was 7 yrs old! I do know snippets of the characters storylines & what happens to Kevin & Allison but im not saying, dont want to spoil it for others Did you know Aisling is pronouced Ashleen in the Irish Gaelic tongue? So many times ive heard it said as literally Ais Lin. Irish Gaelic is hard to learn & its not pronounced the way its written! Like the name Niamh which is said Neeve. My friend speaks Irish Gaellic & its a beautifully sounding language, like nothing ive heard. He also has a smattering of Welsh Gaelic.. I understand the Welsh much easier than the Irish. My matriachal Great Great Grandfather was a Welshman from the Brecon Beacons! And I remembered ( i was just a Tot) being in my Great Grandmothers house & hearing the Welsh tongue & heavenly singing too! Gail has never learned to moderate her reactions. She flies off the handle at the slightest things and behaves just like all the matriarchal figures in her past did and whom she was so critical of, particularly Elsie and Ivy. Moaning Martin is a younger version of Les, kicking off at the slightest provocation. No surprise the Platt household is so dysfunctional!!
