I sympathize with Leanne's plight - I can't even imagine - HOWEVER, this Corrie character is verbally abusive (she was even before her child was very sick)...so my empathy only goes so far. When my mum was dying at 63 from complications of Crohn's, I asked my dad (who wanted to keep her alive for a few weeks to "see how it went") did he want to keep her alive for her or for HIM? Minutes after, my father decided to let my mother go as keeping her artificially alive was causing her more suffering than not. Same goes here. Heartbreaking because this happens all the time in real life too. :(
so because someone every now and then gets in a fight with someone over her dying son, you’re not as sorry for them? can’t you see that she was just lashing out because it was too hard to cope.
@@aoifekennedy9004 she said “I wished that baby died instead of mine!” Then instantly regretted saying it when she found out Oliver had stopped breathing not long afterwards because he’d been accidentally overdosed by Steve. She ran to the pub and waited too find out what happened and if he was okay? She apologized twice for what she said. Once to Steve that same day and again to Leanne herself When she found out Will was her stalker and Leanne told her she was going too help her find evidence that it was Will because the cops wouldn’t do anything without proof!
I am of two minds regarding Leanne. The performance by Jane Danson is brilliant acting but the character is not so much an advocate as a really unpleasant person. I have wondered why the writers wanted her so strident
Simon is going to lose his half brother. Oliver is only little and is left fighting for his life and now Leanne and Simon have to put up with the court stuff. Oliver might pull through before Christmas but we don’t know the full thing yet
Poor Steve he’s so torn with not wanting to say turn off the machines and doing what Leanne wants him to do knowing in his heart that Oliver is getting worse that his seizures are hurting him worse and worse and the doctor saying he’s in pain I just don’t know what I would do either it does seem selfish to us that have not been put in this position to turn off someone’s breathing machine but from a mother who has lost 2 children myself I would of done anything I could to save them
All of you come down olivier not going anywhere oh no where he is not going die get a grip have some fateful on olivier just be there for him not let him down its not his fault it's the doctors fault not olivier
