I'm guessing it doesn't even register with Max that saying- it was meant for Daniel not Amy, doesn't sound any better. No one cares that you accidentally drugged the wrong person, they care that you drugged someone in the first place. the fact you got the wrong victim just makes it worse.
Exactly, cause he's still or would be telling the courts it was meant for someone with malicious intent, right target or wrong target it's still drugging.
Nah they should take into consideration about people getting the wrong Targets, like when Ray r**ed Faye and she got prosecuted for attacking Adam in mistaken identity, the f**king Jury in that case and they should’ve taken into account what Ray did to Faye.
@@Sam_Brunt How is that fair on the victim? How would that have been fair on Adam? If Faye actually attacked Ray and not Adam, then it would have been taken into account. Faye attacked Adam by mistake; Adam didn't do anything to her. The Jury wouldn't be seeing any evidence of what Ray did to Faye, because that had nothing to do with Adam. It was Raye. You don't get leniency for taking the law into your own hands and getting the wrong person. What if Adam or Sarah decided to attack Faye? Because she attacked Adam? If they attacked her and went to court should the jury take that into account: I attacked her because she attacked me trying to get someone else?
@@Sam_Brunt No they shouldn't take into consideration people got the wrong target, if anything that makes the crime worse. You don't get sympathy or a lesser sentence because oops you got the wrong person. you put the wrong person in hospital or in a grave- but you didn't mean to get them you were after someone else? Why should they take into account what RAYE did to Faye? They might if Faye actually attacked Raye, but she didn't. she attacked Adam. What Raye did to Faye had nothing to do with Adam. Adam was Faye's victim. Adam deserved justice for Faye attacking him.
He has adhd and has always somewhat had himself in some trouble bc of it. His character is interesting bc of the way he is how he did all that to Nicky mainly because he wanted those boys to like him yet they told him to get lost and only paid attention when he did something. He’s acting upon his emotions a lot and doesn’t seem to stop doing something for drama? Or for ppl to like him. And most kids with adhd do that but David doesn’t help not chastising him for it Atleast he could’ve just told him it was wrong. There is lots of signs of adhd in the way he does things and perhaps some of it is bc of his mum too.
The other actor who played Max changed as well he sold his ADHD tablets and tried to hit Nick with a bat remember. At the end of the day he is Callums son
@@abbieroseholden4174 he is also Kylie’s. But yeah I think these behaviors are unlike David’s really. His character is interesting bc n one is thinking it’s his adhd but he is trying to make friends and all but their telling him to bog off basically. He seems to jut ruin things without trying
What happened to the old Max we all knew and loved? The one who cried when he saw his dad beating up Jason or who looked after his little sister. This one is spoiled, entitled, ungrateful and completely self-centred. Even after apologizing to Amy he still puts himself first, moaning about what a hard time he's having. And I hate the way Corrie always have characters almost die as soon as they do something unforgivable so that everyone feels sorry for them and suddenly forgives them. They did the same thing with Todd over and over again, so he never learned anything either.
@@evanslater4551 That's what I mean, he won't die but when he gets out of hospital he will milk his injury for all it's worth to make people feel sorry for him and make them forget about all the bad things he's done.
@@EleanorOF yep you're right!! I think the only difference between Max and Callum is that Callum was completely remorseless, whereas Max genuinely does feel bad when he realises he's done something that's hurt someone. Like he did feel bad and sorry to Amy about spiking her.
You're absolutely right, when David was Max's age he was a heap of trouble. Although having said that, whilst Max gets most of his traits from David, he probably also gets some from his biological father, Callum Logan, as well as he was more or less the same; trouble. David probably gets his bad traits from his evil serial killer stepfather, Richard Hillman.
WHAT is Max's problem? The only thing I can think of is he wanted revenge for Daniel "grooming" Summer, but that was already proven to be a misunderstanding so why, why, why is Max going on this tirade?
@@nigelbevan8449 well you now just said it. And I didn't say anything about feeling pity or sorry. All Im suggesting is it's not surprising that he would be a nightmare given he's had a shite upbringing. Both parents murdered. Plus his dad was a thug. His mum was a drug addict and tried to sell him. All Im saying it's hardly surprising. If that was real life, it would be pretty accurate for a child who had lots of trauma growing up to be acting and going down the wrong path in teenage years and into adulthood. It happens all the time.
It´s almost impressive how he always manages to twist every situation into him somehow being the victim. Poor little Max facing the consequences of his actions.
Violation of your human rights Max? 😂🤣. Well, you're under 18 and still living under David & Shona's authority, they can confiscate your cell phone if they want to, and anything else for that matter, and the law gives you no recourse to get them back.
The Max I knew would never hurt a fly, sure he was a bit of a troublemaker from time to time but he was never as bad as this! I wouldn't be surprised if this Max was capable of murder!
@@masonandgreatvideos2934 yeah. It was in 2019 the last time we ever saw inside it. I never thought we were gonna see inside the Barber’s ever again to be honest.
If this was real life, I'd wager that Max would be diagnosed with covert schizoid personality disorder. A high number of serial murderers have been diagnosed as schizoid, when it's combined with narcissistic traits, you get someone that is very contemptuous of others.
Just take a look at his history. It's not really surprising, his mother didn't want him at first, he was nearly sold to Steve and Becky, he had to deal with David's antics growing up, mother was a drug addict, mother was murdered, his dad was a violent criminal who was also murdered by Max's adopted Aunty. It's hardly surprising he'll end up on the wrong path
@@samuelstevens248 sorry I’m not trying to be rude but you got one little fact wrong his dad was murdered by his mum his dad was trying to attack or assault his adopted auntie sorry just letting you know
There have been many crap actors in Corrie but the actor who plays Max is without doubt the least talented, wooden and most unconvincing one of the lot...is he the director's son or something..
Why is Max acting like he did nothing wrong, or that his phone being taken away is somehow a violation of his rights? He's a smug little prick that needs to be taught a lesson. Not that I will ever condone what happened to Amy but between her and Max there's this self entitled smugness among teenagers like their actions are justified and anyone opposing them is the enemy That's complete and utter BS Amy thinks she's the feminist that can turn the bad boy and Max believes anyone who doesn't cater to his whim is the enemy The writers need to stop catering to teens delicate sense of free will because it's sending the ridiculous message of ' I'm right and you just don't understand' to dangerous levels of obliviousness and lack of tact
@@thecreativemillenial yeah meanwhile Max practically hops like Mario from one screw up to the next, if he doesn't die then maybe he'll learn or maybe he'll become worse sine the writers seem to like giving in to teenagers and their beliefs even if It flies in the face of common sense
I'm mad confused people. Why is this boy hell bent on ruining Daniel's life??? Is he in love with Daniel or something? And what will it take for David to get that his son is a modern day Joffrey
People are confused on why max is acting up. Take a look at his upbringing. He was nearly sold by his own mother, because she didn't want him, his mum was a drug addict, then was murdered, his has witnessed some of his adopted dad's antics, plus going to prison more than once while in his care. His dad was a violent thug who was also murdered under and buried under his own house. It really isn't that surprising. Some people go on to be serial killers after that type of upbringing
@@natasha8966 I wouldn’t say he’s not parenting him properly, david is trying his best. He’s trying to make Max realise how wrong spiking someone’s drink is and he’s trying to make Max face the consequences but Max doesn’t care.
Maxs acting is weird. Hea not the full ticket. Hew not the little boy he once was amd hes nothing like Kylie or even Callum hes not smart enough. Wheres lily?
@@masonandgreatvideos2934 Yeah, but Max had already been winding him up for weeks before that, I honestly don't know what his obsession with Daniel is or why Max hates him so much - maybe he just can't stand authority
I swear I used to like max but not anymore he’s always doing things that he’s not meant to be. Then David letting him of the hook easily like he drugged Amy and he was let off that’s not acceptable now what’s he up too tbh I never know but it’s always about his hatred for Daniel. Yes David thank you for not letting him off the hook. Max has problems with all the Barlow family like what have they done to him NOTHING! He has problem with Daniel, now Adam and he had a problem with Amy just grow up max
I hate Max's voice it goes through me and Adam was right about the like father like son. David needs to give him a damn good hiding and make him realise what he done was wrong.
I hate how People treat Max. He's already explained that it was meant for somebody else, what more is there to say? People need to start showing him some respect, cus Lord knows he's shown them more then enough. # MaxDidNothingWrong
Good for David, he will be back to his old enabler ways soon enough after Max gets hurt. I'm sure Max will bleed it for everything it worth. Playing the poor wounded boy.
I’d like for the writers to show some decency and have it play out - realistically - and have Max be found guilty of this and do some time inside. Because, if he gets off, which the writers will probably ensure, it will give absolutely no credibility and realism to this storyline as it comes to a conclusion. Then, perhaps the writers can slowly start to have Max turn his life around over a period of time instead of being the little turd that he is now.
He’s right kylie would be a shame of him he’s so evil lock him up throw away the key an aww poor him human rights over his phone what a ass he makes me 🤢
Max needs a good kicking, he just can't seem to see what he done was wrong, just because he owned up to it doesn't mean he's going to get off with it, what he did to amy was serious, and david of all people should know that, since it happened to him a while back
Go Adam nothing give me a break 😡 I’m getting angry max is a poor vulnerable wee cute wee cuddly sheep that just lost his mum leave the cute wee cuddly sheep 🐑 alone for gods sake leave him alone 😡😤
