I wish everyone would stop complaining about the new Todd- it’s hard enough to play someone that was played by another actor as it is, and I think he’s doing a great job !
There the Todd I know and love. Cheeky, funny, witty, charming, arrogant, rude, but also with a heart that actually cares. I personally think Gareth is doing a good job, it's hard when someone comes in to fill in a legendary character. But I think he's starting to get to who Todd was. I've also just really missed the character.
I like this Todd. I liked the original actor too but he wanted to stop acting to do photography so we just got to respect that, and give this new actor a chance. by the way Todd has always been sarcastic and annoying its nothing new.
It would be hard with his past Reputation and Past. He hasn't even tried to find a Job. Sean reminds me of Emmett Honeycutt on Queer As Folk (US), he never lived alone, he went from being Michael Novotny's Roommate to living with Debbie. I guess what with his Job at The Factory & Rovers, it still would be hard to rent a flat. Also, isn't it amazing how everyone is linked. The Actor who plays Dylan was on Last Tango In Halifax with Sarah Lancashire who of course played Raquel back in the day. Last Tango In Halifax was written by Sally Wainwright who also did Gentleman Jack with Suranne (Sarah) Jones who plays Anne Lister.
@@laminage Wow .. thanks for that, didn't realise the connections.😀 Yes Sean is hilarious, he suits being a housemate, but Todd with his Mammy thinks he is a 9 year old ... Us kids stick together he said to Sean's child. Ahhh .. cringe ... Todd plays the character of Todd very well. He dose not look anything like him of course and people need time to adjust.
I didn't watch Corrie in 2008 so how did Sean and this violet have a kid ? Was it similar to Ben and Lola in EastEnders where they knew Ben was gay but they slept together once to experiment and ended up having a kid out of it or was it more of a bet between Sean and Violet ?
