And make sure to check out the in-depth review of the Eliud Kipchoge PACE 2 that you can view here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rjYUIqN92HE.html Thanks for watching, folks!
I felt confident to buy a Vertix thanks to your review.. and it's an awesome watch. I never thought I would use another thing other than Garmin... I was so wrong... Looking forward to try this new one.... great video...
You have to give them credit for actually including on board maps... Still not a patch on the Fenix series capability wise.... But its awesome that Garmin may get some competition in the near future regarding mapping. Great review as always : -) 👍
Thanks for this review. Now I have a bigger problem with choosing a sports watch :D Is it worth waiting for fenix 7? What do you think about the coros platform?
I only trust your reviews for fitness watches and I'm just curious whether you have plans for reviewing the galaxy watch 4. I mean it isn't really a "fitness watch" but just curious! Thank you
Don't you have a plan to review samsung galaxy watch 4? I wonder if the heartrate sensor got advanced or not! Your sincere reviews are always helpful. Thanks! :)
Your reviews have kept me busy lately! Trying to decide on a lower cost but respectable watch for use with backpacking/fast packing and basic running. What would your recommendation be?
How do you change the features on the watch faces? For example many display steps, cal, HR and alt. Is there a way to change these metrics. For example on the Topo watch face it displays altitude, in your review it displayed calories. Thanks for the great review, new to Coros from the Fenix.
same price with Fenix 6x pro....no ant+ and no support like spotify (guess the license fees for these held them back) ..so why buy at all?just a new gadget? battery life? With these weaknesses and a price of 700, coros makes life much easier for Fenix, because now they dont have to work too much on Fenix 7....
Garmin is loosing its moat. Enduro for 800 w/o a sapphire glass, no touch screen…. The good thing for the customers is that Garmin will not be able to charge more than 699 for the Fenix 7
@@todortodorov2434 competition is always good, especially for us customers....but here I see a pattern, like Nike introduced 200+ dollar carbon shoes, and now almost all carbon plates are around 200$....Iphone made the first 1000$ phone, and now all brands' flagships are around or more than 1000$....garmin broke the 500$ limit and now the others easily price their products above those prices....this is not competition, premium prices and the hope to get a piece from a growing market.... (on this case Garmin still has the edge with spotify, pay, solar thing, better maps, interchangeable faces and tons of apps)
Great video. any idea of the scale of the topographic contours. Is it like 1:100,000 or more like a quad map at 1:24:000. Just curious what level of detail they show. thanks,
How well does this display compare will the Fenix 6? I have the Fenix 5x, and really like it. A higher contrast indoor display would be nice. Curious how the coroa compares to Fenix in that department?
If you have 2 Coros watches say the Vertix 2 and the Pace 2, do they both sync seamlessly with EvoLab or will the watches act like you are only working out as much as you do when wearing the respective watches? Can see the benefit potentially of having one light watch for short runs and one big watch with maps and longer life as long as they both show the same fitness metrics at the same time...
I am looking for a smart watch which can have following features Rugged look like g shocks Solar Speaker N replying to text n whatsapp Any suggestions?
No ANT+ rendered the Vertix 2 dead on arrival. This watch was suppose to be my ticket out of the Garmin ecosystem. But of course. Just like Suunto and Polar; Coros figured the lack of ANT+ made this watch better. Please tell me Coros. How can I pair my power meter to my iPad and your Veritix 2 at the same time. Oh, I know! 🤔 Just keep using my Garmin forerunner 945. 😂🤣 You gave this watch just about everything. Even touch screen so I can navigate the maps better. It really destroyed the Fenix 6 pro. Sure, no Spotify or Amazon Music etc. But I can live without that. But really. What were you thinking about when you decided to not add ANT+ support!!!!? Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
I have a Fenix 6S Pro and would buy the same again having seen this review. There’s a few critical faults that I couldn’t overlook; maps definitely need labels, no ANT+ and it’s way too big for my skinny wrists. Sure the battery life is great but it would like a dustbin lid on my arm. I’m male with thin arms but it must be off-putting to a lot of females too, ignoring half of the population seems a bad idea. The price doesn’t put me off because it’s the same sort of money I paid for my Fenix, but it doesn’t match the Fenix on features (many that I actually use) so if it was $150 less I still wouldn’t buy because it lacks features that I would want to use.
Good day des... How about a comparo segment between older models, say for example Fenix 3HR vs the recent Fenix models.. just my 2 cents... 🤙 Appreciate all ur vids BTW..
Their focus is definitely running but also have a lot of features for other outdoor sports like rock climbing, downhill skiing, and backcountry skiing. Oh, and they just came out with a jump rope activity profile.
Brother am your great fan of you . please sent me a smartwatch after the review which you getting from the companies. I don't have money to buy a GPS smart watch. Please its my request.
Sorry, but I try to keep the devices around so I can publish update videos like if there are new features with future firmware updates, plus be able to answer any questions about a watch in case I don’t know the answer off the top of my head. Appreciate you tuning in!
