Fuck YES bruh same here. We say it correctly where I'm from. But I went to Kentucky once and, shit you not, EVERYONE in that damn state says "Reesee" shit drives me off rainbow road
My teacher legit called them "Reesees" and the entire class look dumbfounded Edit: Didn't know my comment would get this many likes, uh thanks ig? Also didn't know people liked debating so much about "Re-sis" or "Re-sees" but the more you know-.
"They Better Than Hershey's" Meanwhile they're made by Hershey with Hershey's chocolate Edit: I talked to my manager about this and turns out the formulas are extremely similar, so not exactly the same, my bad on those who I have misinformed :(
If everybody gets frustrated enough at a group of streamers, their collective anger will summon an apparition of Corpse into their conscience to tell them what's up.
On one hand he's right on the other hand I say "Yard Sard" when talking about yard sales or garage sales so I understand saying fun sounds for the heck of it
@@irenecarrillo6750 it's said like Ree-sehs, but some people pronounce it like ree-sees. I don't really mind tho, just wonder how that pronunciation came about. Even tho I'm crazy for chocolate, I was never a big fan of Reese's cuz of all the peanut butter😒
@@Sardit it is but since some people's names are not pronounced how you see them written it gets really vague. Though I would've expected people to realize it when some of those rap commercials came out
@@Sardit lmao i'm sorry to say this but english is incredibly irregular and many words have weird pronunciations. nothing wrong with someone saying smth wrong, just correct and move on if it bothers u
Best time Corpse did this was when Brooke was playing a mini golf type game with Tina and kept failing and all you hear is him connect laugh for like 15 seconds then disconnect. 🤣
I'm with iron mouse when she says my mouth feels good when it makes it appropriate noises. Because I make this horrendous screech noise that my husband has nicknamed my pterodactyl screech I do it when I video game and die a lot I mean alot.
@@AutumnPulse I love that even the people who pronounce it wrong seem to be aware that it's supposed to rhyme so instead of saying it right they just also say pieces wrong so it still rhymes.
I think that new pronunciation is the result of Nintendo not wanting people to say "Arse". But be fair, it's also theorized Arceus name originated from a mash up between ancient Greek and Latin, which are languages in which a soft C doesn't even exist: and as such: Arkeus :)
@@thaddeos7484 the majority of the English language borrows from Greek and Latin, yet we still use the soft C. When speaking English I follow English grammar just like if you spoke French you’d follow French grammar Besides We have the original translation showing their original intent for pronunciation in the form of the movie shown as “Ar-see-us”, it’s only a modern day attempt, if any, to not say “arse”-eus. It’s like trying to rebrand a whole ass word
“Reesees Piecees” makes me recall that one Game Grumps bit: “Fuck you Jim! Fuck you! Get out of my store! Always stealing my Reesees Piecees! Buying up all my Starburst!”
The people who says ree-sees are the ones who say Sa- Sue-kay or Na-Rue-to Fucking they say the correct pronunciation in the subs! They are also the people who call Stephen Ste-Faun
Passively aggressively bring in a bag of Reese's pieces and call them reesee's peesee's the whole time and when someone corrects you just explode and be like "God I know right!? People just can't say Reese's right so I figured nobody gets to be happy."
