This is a redo/update of my plastic corpsing video- lots of new tricks in this that didnt make it into the last one. Please like, comment and subscribe. IM BACK!
Just tried out this technique today, my daughter called the result genuinely disturbing, so it worked. Being in California no naphtha so used oderless mineral spirits, which thinned the silicone fine. It did begin thickening and drying very quickly, not sure if that is the case with naphtha. Good job.
Excited to see you back at it, obviously enjoyed the pumpkin tutorial and it's exciting to see you back with my personal favorite medium. Love me some plastic corpsing.
Welcome back! You have no idea how much we have missed you. I really like what you are doing with the caulk and naphtha, I can already think of a dozen uses for it, not just for various corpsing effects, but even in walls and scenery. Keep them videos coming.
That’s freaking awesome looking and very cool how the left over material could still be used as skin or flesh flakes to surround the corpse even. Awesome and wonderful !
This channel is fantastic and you are a great teacher and an inspiration to anyone interested in this topic...Amazing how incredible your work is, thanks.
When I first started watching your channel several years ago, I think you made a witch cabinet and used that leather stain, I am still amazed at how many applications it offers!
I have the oddest craving for BBQ right now... Anyway, thank you for continuing to be an endless source of inspiration and ideas. The spray adhesive is an obvious solution in hindsight. One of the problems I had doing my FeeGee mermaid was plastics tendency to peel away from the bones as it heated up. I ended up having to resort to tissue paper and glue for some of the smaller bones.
Wow! When you were done with the brown gut-paint, I thought of Ren-Faire turkey legs. My dog looked hopefully druelling at your video too. I'm forwarding this to my sister that does-up Halloween every year (she had to get a big out building built to hold her props). She has a lot of store-bought stuff, but is taking up larger projects now, so hopefully she'll love doing making a corpse of her own (if I had my own home I'd try my hand as well) Mwaahahahahaaaa!
The MASTER is back! Awesome vid Allen, thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to do this.I think I can speak for everyone when I say we truly appreciate it.I've learned so much from you, thanks again and YT Wed. rocks!
Straight 🔥🔥🔥🫡! That corpse came out super sick!! I’m wondering if I could do it for cheap, but still get the same effects. Not in a haunt, more for decorative. Awesome video my guy 👊🏼😎
Ya know...incase your bummed some day....you make this world so much better just by being you....and sharing is just the cherry on top....even if all you did was just show your finished stuff. which so many others do.
+Sislertx I want to see YOUR finished stuff. There are so many ways to make the world cooler I just try to share the ones I figure out. Thank you for your kind words.
@@StiltbeastStudios by the way, I’ve recently found your videos and I must say I’ve been binge watching for a few days now lol. All the way back to 12 years ago! Such great stuff !♥️
Awesome technique, thank you for sharing! With the left overs from your dry bucket, could that be "melted" down again with more Naphtha? To use on the same or other projects?
Amazing job!! Love your tutorials! It looks like she has hair at the end of the video. Would you please tell me where you buy the hair and how you attach it? Thank you!!
Awesome vid! Keep em coming! Question: Where did you get the stain for the red coloring? Or is there another substitute that also works besides the red stain?
Hi love your videos such great imagination and skills. I made the expanding foam rib cage but wondering is there any way of making it less brittle? Is it possible to use a chicken wire frame first?
Ah, thank you. I only just found your channel yesterday so I haven't yet properly explored your content :) Enjoying your skill sharing and humor lol awesome channel.
Question: would using acetone to break down the silicon react badly with the plastic used for the corpsing? Or is it a viable alternative to the naptha?
What a great tutorial! This is definitely on my huant project list to do. I'm very grateful to have stumbled across the channel. A suggestion, one of the biggest questions I see in your comments are "where do you get your material?" Have you thought about getting an Amazon store link so you could get commission for referring these items? I have a friend who does something similar and makes a pretty good penny so they can make more of their projects. Happy Haunting
+April Gabriel (Strength and Beyond) great suggestion, I just haven't had the time to set it up- so busy right now, RU-vid will get some more of my love come December maybe I can set it up then.
It's great to see you back! And I think this tutorial was so much better than the other corpsing videos you've done. I definitely plan on using this newer method for bodies around the house this year. I know someone else has done corpsed pumpkins on RU-vid using cotton and liquid silicone. Do you have any other techniques for this?
Franklin G. Roberts III I did plan on doing a pumpkin video because I have a few tricks for that. So stay tuned but it will be a few weeks out Im afraid.
Allen - another question. I'm just about to start my first corpse (having obtained all the "ingredients" I need). I have a load of the 'pose & stay' skellys. Do you think after using your method to corpse, that I'll still be able to pose them? And if you were to fold them up for storage (assuming you can of course - if they're still flexible at the joints?), do you think there'd be any risk of the silicon sticking to itself e.g., if you fold the arms and legs up against the torso, do you think they'd stick together? Cheers!
Great tutorial as always!! I'm looking to take on my first corpsing project & have everything needed to begin. The one question I have is this........what heat setting do you use? I have a digital heat gun with settings from 250-1350. Thanks in advance!
just curious, but do you think if the naphtha/silicone mix was thin enough that it could used as a washable blood on costumes? as in if costume was washed blood/gore would stay there unlike clear glue
Could you tell me where you purchased the skeleton and what price range I'm looking at for the project? Please and Thank you! Awesome looking prop sparked lots of ideas!
Another great video! (Slowly going through the backlog to get caught up) A question for you: I have access to a roll of thin black plastic wrap meant to shrink wrap loaded pallets for shipping. Do you think that would work/look good?
