Good morning good afternoon good evening good night Heatwave sound very good simple instructions really appreciated brilliant good analogies "can't keep the head dirty and expect belly clean" like it respect from platinumprovocateur over her in the uk 🇬🇧 London Keep up the good work king 👌🏾👌🏾
How do you have your mixing board set up? And how is it wired coming from a controller or Pioneer S11. I'm interested in how you have yours set up. Or can you do a video on how you have your mixing board setup and wired to your dj controller/dj mixer (pioneer s11) I have a pioneer s11, that's why I'm asking.
Just because the meters are lit does not mean the signal is distorted. The only way to know the point of distortion is to test the output signal. You would be surprised much output the sz can send before clipping.
I was with you until you pass the controller. How is clipping bad on the controller but good everywhere else? ( distortion is distortion at any stage ). In my understanding, proper gain structure creates balance, clarity and headroom leaving space for applying eq or additional volume if needed without clipping. Clipping not only creates distortions, it creates added heat which can damage your equipment. Look up analogy vs digital scale or dBu vs dBfs. This help me, especially with balancing analog and digital sources. Each One Teach One. Bless!
Clipping doesn't always mean your audio quality is distorted... it can also mean your component is delivering its audio at its maximum. A steady red signal light means distortion.
@@heatwavesound.djezee909Yes I agree. But riding so close to the edge imo is asking for trouble. If for any reason the compressor/limiter don’t do its job… is problems….
@@ankh1986 6 of 1 half dozen of the other when your driverack line outs are at unity (0)db your amplifiers needs to be turned out more correct? What happens when u have a faulty jack, pick up a hum or hiss. Louder hum/hiss right... tweeter and horn damage. Or even if the compressor doesn't do its job.
@@heatwavesound.djezee909 everytime that clip light flash your signal is being distorted. It’s not a signal presence light it’s a clip light. Clipping by definition means distortion.
If your signal is weak then normally you'd turn your amp up higher If the signal is strong going in then you won't have a need to turn your amplifier all the way out or as high as u would if that signal was weak
The channel that is clipping is not connected to any speakers. I can assure you that when the speakers are connected it won't clip that easily. Test and proven
@@RangerTyrone 100% correct The channels that are clipping, Ther isn't anything connected to them. All 4 amplifier are playing stereo. Behringer 4000... left and right low-mid Nady audio... 3000 left and right hihg-mid Qsc 1500... left and right horn Qsc 1500... left and right tweeter. So I'm playing 1 column of the sound just on a very small ⚖️ scale. (2 eight inch speaker) if I was to connect the 8 conductor speakon to the side that's clipping I wouldn't u already know what would happen..
This is not how you gain stage any system,😂the only thing you have done correct in this video is setting up your controller at unity, clearly you don’t understand how to use the dbx drive rack as there is no reason whatsoever your drive rack or amplifiers should be clipping especially with the volume control on the amplifiers set so low,red clip lights on any system is a big no no in the audio world.
Your amplifier produces what u feed it. If your input is distarted then your output will be distarted. Red clips on your amplifier means it's at its maximum potential. Much to learn sir
