@@BenBen-bv3kpесли молотком стукнуть по монтировке то ресурс ремня уменьшится до 10 минут вот смысл. 😂😂😂😂😂 if you hit the mount with a hammer, the belt life will decrease to 10 minutes, that's the point
do this at work all the time lol idc if i need a pry bar and all i have is a hammer im gonna beat it trying to get it into place for 20 minutes before you catch me walking back to my tool box😂😂
Using a blunt tool will do little to no damage to the belt like others say it will. These belts are incredibly durable, after all they run many pulley like AC, alternator, powered steering, water pump and vacuum pump off of the crank pulley. These commenters are over exaggerating about how much the belts durability is affected just because the creator decided to not follow manufacturer’s procedure and do the job in an easier and more efficient way.
I've never seen a setup like that before. Glad I switched to the body shop. I'll still do my own engine work at home. But at least I don't have to deal with it at work anymore
I mean everybody’s talking about using a different tool. I mean if he was using his head why wouldn’t he just stick it on the aluminum part and not touch the belt or the pulley all together?
If I was going to do that with the tool he's using I would have pushed on the aluminum arm that's holding the tension pulley not really right in the center of the belt I don't really think that's a good idea.
OBVIOUSLY something they put on like maybe one car and they don't tell you what car it actually was. so I'll just keep doing belts the old fashioned way. 😂
Мой ремень на vw пронхал 130000 км и поменял его вместе с грм. Ремни при. Этом не имели видимых трещин и т.п. здесь я не понял, что за фиксатор натяжителя. Кто то в курсе какой мотор?
What engine is this?? I’ve been a diesel engineer for 20 years and never seen that before…. Kinda wish I knew about that hack… or is it an American based engine?? Genuine question. Thanks

Yea typical German engineering, more parts more points of failure. What an absolute waste of engineering time and money, godforbid we put a 3/8” or 1/2” square in the mold for the tensioner arm let’s spend 1,000,000$ engineering a built in holder cuz we’re quirky.
my vehicle is made in America and not from 2024 where my tensioner actually has a way to lift it with a half inch ratchet so you dont have to do this bullshit
