Here’s some information for everyone reading these post. Lego has the road base plates on sale for $11 because they are changing the packaging so all the road plates are on clearance from 1699 down to 1199. Just fun fact for everyone to know to take it vantage.
have only just found your channel and absolutely love it, my son and daughter watched a ton of your videos the other day, they were blown away with the city. my daughter is already telling us she wants a city like that now, lol
Nice. The garage looks nice next to the fire station (plus if the fire truck breaks down the neighbors will fix it lol). Not gonna lie, the car crash scene had me laughing. However if I could make a suggestion you should build a hobby shop (preferably one that sells model trains and RC vehicles). It’s like the one thing that your city needs. Also love the new intro & outro.
That LED light strip really helps to give enough light! Haha I remember back with your unfinished basement between the walls being dark and not the greatest lighting, now your city gets to be shown off in the full glory that it is, because in my opinion you have the best one on youtube! I hope they keep making more Ninjago City sets own the first one and love it and the docks are high up on my want list love the style and how they connect so smoothly and all the small nods to past themes hidden within them!
It helps a lot for sure. I'll take slow steps on new LED's so I don't overdo it. haha. I heard a rumor that Ninjago sets will stop this year. I hope they don't. It has allowed me to offer some variety in the city. Thanks for checking it out and I appreciate the high praise. I know there are some pretty amazing LEGO cities out there and I am always happy to be mentioned in those lofty categories.
what a great dad, im not sure i could handle the time it takes to build some of this stuff knowing i have children that at any moment could take everything apart, i know its a kids toy first, but yikes lol, love the new intro, love the garage placement, and enjoy seeing your updates, keep up the great work and i look forward to your next video
#1 Are you going to add blue-ish grey tiles with the 45* cut to make your side walks 'smoother?' #2 IKEA is about a tenth the size it needs to be. #3 Your kids are awesome. #4 Thank you for letting your kids play with your city.
#1 if I can get my hands on them at a reasonable price, yes. #2 This is the issue with almost all of my buildings. #3 I know! :) #4 It can get a bit messy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks!
Here's the link. You'll also need a power adapter for them. They are sold separately. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008X6OYJQ/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
You should try making Calvins house from Calvin and Hobbes. The book "Attack Of The Killer Snow Goons" will show it. I see you are a Calvin and Hobbes fan, so I think you should make it.
I think the garage looks better so with the straight roadplates instead of the pedastrian crossings that don't match the garage driveway. Also the coloring of the tiles looks better this way.
G'Day Alex. Your city is looking awesome, and the placement of Corner Garage is great. Quick question, you mentioned your filming with a GoPro, how do you do the audio/voiceover? Cheers, Brendon.
most of the time I am talking while filming. If I need voice over I overlap the audio of one clip and overlap it to the video clip. I use Adobe Premier Elements for my video editing.
