Who hires these people they need to be accountable

I used to live in Decatur, AL... there was a cop that would come to a restaurant and sit at the bar and get smashed - he'd have his young son with him too... he'd get in the car and leave. I reported him but wish I'd have done more because that department was so corrupt.

When dating my future wife long distance 25 years ago - I hated Pike County. Got a ticket for 11 over at 2 am. It was one of those stretches where you're leaving the town and they keep the town speed limit a mile or so further than they need to just to nail people. I don't mind paying for my crime (I fixed the ticket) but his attitude was horrible. Yelled at me like 11 mph made me some hardened criminal. He should have been happy a person out at 2 am is sober. Another time in Pike I got pulled over for 6 over. This was the weekend my wife's grandfather passed away while traveling from Missouri to mid Iowa ... And I had to make a couple trips back and forth to help my wife get stuff from our home, get the dogs in a kennel, etc. He was mad because I had been going faster (probably 12 over) but I saw him a good half mile away and slowed down well before getting in radar distance. He yelled at me too (whether 6 or 12 mph, these are not outrageous speeds .. especially mid-day, no traffic, clear and sunny).

THIS is what people should do, snitch on cops all day. see how THEY like it

So you can get a DWI and go to another agency and just be hired when his certificate is under review and this is a officer who not had once DWI but a offender and this is the highest standards to be a officer. This department felt this would be a good officer for there department no red flags and put this officer out in there community and represent this department I would suggest this department and who ever chief or hired this officer be under review also and has no place in law enforcement this condoning and allowing bad officers to break the law and continue in law enforcement has to stop.

Added comment on probation in a bar drinking again and then gets in a vehicle and drives! How will this department that hired him say now!
