Omg, I don’t even live there and have a better recollection of events. Before Russ was assigned to one year seat, he missed several meetings without an excuse. Evidently Russ thought he should automatically be placed in a two year term because his @$$ was already sitting in a chair. Don’t have to run, don’t have to qualify! The. The meeting where they proposed a candidate for, was the one that Lynette thought Meeks was going to appt her. Which is why they were at town hall at 4:30. And also why George couldn’t go in, due to the police not understanding the restraining order. There’s even video of all it. They have selective memories!

I absolutely LOVE George, she is so funny. Not only does she consistently make intelligent observations & very valid points, for her to retain her sanity given the crap she's been through personally & then this mess. I do not know George nor Jeremy at all, believe me I wish I did, truly good & ethical people are extremely rare & hard to find. Anyways, we as viewers watch this madness unfold, but if you really think about it, this is unfreaking real that this BS is actually happening in a town, much less a town of 100 people! Jeremy constantly states it, but his point really does need to be taken to heart here, this isn't some RU-vid series, this is literally people's lives here. I honestly can't imagine having to fight like this & for this long, just for people to do what they are legally & what swore to do. Why is it so hard for adults to simply act like it? 1st thing I learned from corporate purgatory was, the older people get & the higher the position, the more immature & flat out stupid they act. It's worse than elementary school playground politics.

I had just thought about this and you might want to pass it on to Mayor Zim about this fact in between now and the time when whatever seat comes up for election again, it might be prudent for him to look into changing the town charger and fixing these plot holes and this ensuring they can keep wrestle out of the council once and for all and hopefully Don the con as well

I am so amazed how individuals feel so entitled to be on the 'top', and they want everyone around them to hold their hand when they cry, but refuse to hold someone else's hand in need, or if you are a council member, help out, be a contributor to their town etc. Edumacation lol is a real issue her, and yes bad spelling and pun was on purpose. Good luck for this town in future, they have a decent council, the world is watching them bring Otter Creek out of the swamp.
