Lawmakers have opposed the proposed takeover of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) by Adani Airport Limited Holding, accusing the concession agreement of being a scheme to siphon public funds.

The airport was not sold or leased,it was a proposal by adani to lease the airport but the courts halt the deal by the government

I don't take joy in this, but I remember early on warning everyone I could about this man who became Kenyan president William Ruto, I remember seeing him being praised by one of the bigger African news commentary sites. I said early on this guy would prove to be a con artist. He has exceeded even beyond how wicked I suspected he would be. I no longer listen to these African leaders that talk a lot. I look at what they do for their people like the late pres Magafuli.

We do not know. And many Kenyan paper-economists, including Richard Mwenja at MANYORA, smiled VERY broadly. However FACTS are, that right NOW in 2024, Kenya houses the SECOND LARGEST SLUM in Africa. And a FULL 60% of Nairobi RESIDENTS do NOT, repeating, do NOT, have access to CLEAN WATER. The sewage system is a total mess, the stench unbearable in many parts of Nairobi.
