The problem with success is that it is sexy but the road to true legal and sustainable success is not sexy. People don’t see the hard labour over many years through many trials before the success. I did everything right from school to varsity and got a degree and honours degree: started earning R3.5k a month. I worked my way up the corporate ladder through blood, sweat and tears. I had a few girlfriends at that age but they were not my aim. I only had my first serious relationship at 23 years old. I am now living the life. Many cars, mansion and wife with kids. Guys stop chasing women. The problem is people want instagram success overnight. Even new graduates think a qualification will give you money. You have to work. There are doctors who study post grad. You cannot sleep on money.
..Just want to add, the above issue is just one example of the need for cultural mindset change required to build modern societies, there are other nations with far greater challenges, the muslims for example. And I commend you highly for bringing these questions into the public domain....
@@thulitukisi1711 What I am saying is what we today lable as 'corruption' worked effectively within the tribal context, but once that context is removed, as it is in 'modern' society, this mindset becomes a hindrance to the progress of a society as a whole, in that 'connections' are perceived as more important than honesty, knowledge and diligence.
