Something tells me the day Valve started selling that life sized portal gun. They instantly caused over 100 people to start writing the portal short film script.

"This is Aperture Science, we're not sure anything will work."

I'm glad I'm not the only one with such a bizarrely intense attachment to this game.

And thus the Space Core was created.

Honestly, I thought the acting just didn't work out... But the FX and Cinematography were well done. Probably one of your best so far

Because I need to get going, I have snow boarding race in like 5 hours. I gotta catch my jet missy. Scientist: Yes, just come this way. Please lye on this table. Uhh, I'm not so sure about that. I REALLY gotta get goin-HEY WOAH GET OFF ME. ARGH N- WAIT AH. *Is knocked out by a companion cube.* (IRONY BITCH) *Wakes up on an operating table* Wha? What are? *Scientist:* What did you want to do as a child? *Guy:* I wanted to ad- adventure. *...AND SO THE ADVENTURE CORE WAS MADE.*

That ending.... Was amazing.

I have never seen something so awesome that turned out to be a super sad backstory for a background character that only says one word.

As soon as I heard "Why did you want to become an astronaut?" I knew what I was getting into

The whole time they were running around with the portal gun at the end I was thinking,“The next blue portal they shoot is gonna have a guy flying out of it."

This is now my favorite live action portal movie. I love that you told this sort of side story and made it seem honestly legitimate. Plus SPAAAAAAAAACE!!!

I just KNEW that ending was gonna happen! It was still sad, though... I can tell everyone put effort into this video. I think the only problem I have with it is that... the acting could be a little better. Everything was so slow, even the fights seemed to drag on. The men in black didn't seem all that threatening and it felt like the characters were in no real danger because there was no urgency in their actions or voices. Pete was probably the better one acting that way, but overall, it was a great concept and story.

No matter how evil they tried to be, Aperture just couldn't stop being incompetent, could they?

To be honest, the acting was non-satisfying. I know, it's not The Matrix, but really? Those 'battles' made me facepalm. I hardly managed not to close video. Though FX are really good, this saves the whole project. Can't say plot twists are actually 'twists', just 'curves'. Yes, it's hard to make high quality video with a small budget, but it's possible to change scenario to smoothen odd parts. More a parody than a real film.

Wow, that ending was amazing! It would be awesome if you did another one of these with Morality Core or Wheatley :)

I finally got around to watching this. The very moment he mentioned he wanted to be an astronaut, I was like, "IT'S THE SPACE CORE!!!!" This was an emotional rollercoaster. Beautiful. This was great.

So, I was revived into internet data... And now I'm really sad. The code for tears is running... That means I cried, according to the Data Lab Boys who also got revived... I can't believe aperture was turned into this! We were meant to help humans... Not trap their mind in cores while said cores can't express what the mind inside is really saying, and all the core says is what the person says before transferring... Why does this make me cry? Because it's inhumane. I'm serious, I'M ACTUALLY CRYING.

This was so good! That ending sure did surprise me.

Special effects were good and sets were pretty neat... But the "fake background" and "cores were humans" plot twists are overdone--I knew the background was fake as soon as they stepped outside, and knew he was going to be turned into the Space Core the second he said "astronaut" at the beginning. Not to mention turning random test subjects into cores sounds like a waste of resources, given they can create AIs without needing a human consciousness just fine. GLaDOS is the only canon AI that was created using the consciousness of another human. Nothing hints at any of the others being human. Plus, the only reason GLaDOS was made using a human was because Cave wanted Caroline to be immortal... It's cool to see another fanvid, but I have to say the plot could've been better.

That could actually be quite the story be, how the space core was made. His Brain wasn't able to comprehend what is happening and the transformation became corrupt which made the core corrupt. It was a nice indeed

This was amazing I would love a sequel and that gun I really want but $500-$1000 price range I can't afford it and the space core is my favorite core

THAT WAS GREAT!!! the music was on point, the twists and turns were perfectly timed, THE PROPS!!, and that ending was perfectly creepy/unexpected/awesome! and over all a great indie fan film!

The irony is.... dimension portals, enormous underground secret testing facilities, malicious AI.... these are the easy things to believe.... a little girl punching out a fellow male employee with one embarrassingly humorous swing is the difficult part to swallow. :)

This was good and the acting was awesome to me.This really would be a good storyline and I might do a fanfic.It was funny at the end though cause he sounded weird but it sent chills down my spine when the Space Core said "Space".You should make another video for Wheatley and the other cores.Good a Work Guys ❤️

This was... okay for most of it, but that ending made it REALLY great! I was thinking "What does this have to do with portal other than setting?" then BOOM!

This was pretty good! Some of the acting / dialogue might need some polish, but it worked well and the ending was easily the best part of the short.

Great short film! Didn't expect that ending.

My main complaint is that the sound quality, specifically the clarity and volume of the voices, could use some work. The ending made up for the rest of my complaints though.

A "short" film. THIS IS 15 MINUTES LONG! HOW AMAZING!

I thought this was great, but seemed too distant from the Portal Universe. I was very confused as to how or even if the universe was going to tie in until the end. The acting, editing, and all that was good, I just feel the story was forced into the Portal Universe rather than being about the Portal Universe. The only other things I saw were nit-picky and only noticed because I watch Cinema Sins
