I remember as child my dad had one especially the same. We where going out one day I walked out the house first and saw our car going up the road, I ran back in and said, dad dad I just seen our car going up road he turned round and said "don't be daft " we went ta our garage and yep the car had gone. We rang the police, when they came I told em there where 3 guys in it and what ever else they needed. The next day we got a phone call the police had found the car dumped. They then told us it had been used as a get away car as they'd robbed a bank.
congratulations, nice car👍.... I know the Corsair well... I have a 1969 GT V4 1.7 white 4-door.. it belonged to my father... the car was kept by me and is in perfect working order with engine and bodywork. ..here in Italy there is a Ford classic car club of which I am a member and together with other owners of classic cars we meet during the rallies...bye🖐️
Great cars with torquey engine, I used a South African import for a while, Was in silver fox and paint was good, as that and blue mink seemed to suffer paint peel in those days, I had a blue mink escort re painted in Glasurit two pack for a £100 and a Mk 2 Cortina GT for £120 I remember ! Both looked fantastic afterwards, a bit dearer for a repaint these days ! 😬
