I was looking for mouse, case, fans, CPU cooler in separate occasions each time I search for one of these your videos pop up and I must say your videos did help alot and I have good idea now about what parts should I look for. Subscribed
@@TheProvokedPrawn ok i am installing it now but the problem is the backplate is not fitting behind the motherboard, my motherboard is X570 Auros master motherboard
Bruh, You make one of the nice videos on PC keep up the good work also (as you also showed in the video) to be honest, i would not use QL or LL fans on radiator, because from science perspective, they have very poor mm/H2O static pressure, low CFM, have noisy motors and are prone to falling apart + there is a gap at the edge of fan, which is a point of leak for static pressure, causing the super low static pressure to not even properly penetrate the radiators. Its my recommendation to use silicone transparent gasket, so that air flow can be sealed and it moves through radiator only, also bleeding RGB more or use ML on top(outside case fan mount) to pull air while QL provides the flow guidance, but then its painful as you have to adjust RPM accordingly
This white LCD upgrade kit is beautiful. I currently have a black one installed in my 12th Gen Intel build. Currently building a secondary PC and just bought this white upgrade kit, waiting for delivery. Also I'm waiting for royal mail to deliver my motherboard I ordered on eBay the only component I need and royal mail take so long :(
Great Video! Would you be able to show a custom fan cure in iCue? I have a very similar set up and my fans sound like they’re gonna take off when I game 😂
It would be great if you could. I have them all set to quiet but as soon as I launch Warzone it seems to get very loud. While gaming my GPU usually sits around 60°. I will have to check my CPU. If you could show us on this build that would be great 👍🏻
@@TheProvokedPrawn i have the 5000d with 10ql and 3ml in the push pull config all white with the elite capellix just like you its hard to keep that many fans quiet!
Hi there! I love your videos they are extremely helpful:))) i am going to build my first pc soon using this cooler however im a little confused on installing the fans to the radiator. At 7:50 the cables shown were on the top and you said that it was demonstrating a mistake, should i ensure the cables are at the bottom? Thank you!!
I discovered this LED upgrade at the shopping app I was thinking to upgrade my Corsair 100i elite LED to this would be cool I have been using the all in one liquid cooler about probably half a year or 1 year already in between there.
I have exact same controller we my AIO rest of fans won’t power on when connect to controller does this mean a fault with RGB HUB RGB works just no power or spinning fans anything u suggest I do thanks
Is it possible to remove the LCD module from a H150i Elite set ? I mean... Not talking about the upgrade kit but getting the whole set... I know it sounds crazy absurd but disregarding waste of money and given the fact it's nearly impossible to find the new AM4 retention bracket atm, I'm considering getting a whole set, remove the LCD and use it with my H150i elite Capellix radiator/pump, along with the new AM4 Corsair brackets given the fact of how problematic the standard one can be when installing the LCD module. In the end, I'd be left with a spare radiator/pump and the "old" ML fans that came with my Elite Capellix since I'd replace them with the new ones that come with the Elite LCD set. Is it possible to do that ?
Hey, maybe a little late but have been thinking of getting myself this though my current pump heads rgb is not working, would getting this and swapping out the rgb module fix it or will still have no rgb or anything after switching it?
I have the same case and almost the same setup. Mine is going to be AMD AM5 build, but I bought cheaper LED ram than the vengeance, but same AIO and fans. Hopefully everything will sync up. Also running a white RTX360.
I'm think of building a PC in a couple of years but currently just trying to figure some things out. Would 6 ql120 fans on a h150I (acting as push-pull) be fine or even fit? The case I have in mind would be the Corsair black 5000t (hope the price goes down in that time). The idea would be to have 13 ql120 fans (3 front, 3 side, 6 radiator p/p and 1 exhaust - if that's even feasible).
Did you by any chance update the Commander Core / CPU Cooler firmware BEFORE installing the LCD kit? It doesn't seem like you did in this video, but there is a warning on the LCD Upgrade Kit that you did not mention - Planning to do a similar build later this week and want confirmation; If it means I don't have to install the base CPU Cooler, then update the firmware, THEN install the upgrade kit then it makes my life easier!
I was able to plug the commander core into a different computer before actually installing my cpu cooler and there WAS a firmware update... I would recommend doing this as well, or if you can't, install the cpu cooler without the LCD upgrade first, update the firmware, then install the LCD upgrade
I don't see how the QL series is an upgrade from ML series? I too had once contemplated this "alternative" but the loss of CFM, RPM and gain of 1db in the QL didn't justify the purchase.
Great video but does it matter if you use aio pump header of an header because I have heard that there are times where u can plug the pump fan into the pump header and the system doesn’t post because there needs to be a fan connected to a cpu fan header do I just get a y splitter for the radiator fans and connect them to that and connect that to the cpu fan header?
How is the airflow working in your case as far as heat disapating? I have a 360 on the front pulling cold air over my radiator and then exhausting 2 fans on top and one in the rear. My case runs hot with my AMD 5700 and AMD 6700XT GPU. I may need to remove the CPU AIO and re-apply the thermal grease again. I have the same Corsair setup and case as you do
Since you upgraded to the lcd right away before updating the firmware, did you get the red triangle and flashing red rgb on all your fans as soon as you turned on the pc like i have?
@@fuyukbuyuk the problem was the pump from the AIO wasn’t turning on and cooling the CPU. Which is why i got the error on the screen, and the fans flashing red. So what i did was put the old rgb plate back on the pump and it worked. Once i got my PC setup I downloaded the iCue software from corsair website and updated the firmware for the commander core, i believe. Then once it was updated i swapped it back to the lcd screen and it worked
@@A-Fax-Machinefor the Corsair 4000d airflow the h115i elite capillix will not fit RAM big as "Corsair vengeance and dominator" too "tall". Unless if you put in the h115i in front of the case, but kind ruins the aesthetic. For the 5000d airflow I think will fit normally. The 4000d is more "compact".
Sad that I went and got the cooler and upgrade kit and was just greeted with a red triangle and iCue isn't even detecting the lcd but is detecting the commander core :(
I thought it was pronouned ker-pell-icks, but in your videos you pronounce it cah-per-licks / cah-puh-licks. Is there an official pronunciation? I've looked at Corsair's help videos and they use the former pronunciation, but I'm not too sure.
