For everyone asking "Is this compatible with [my motherboard/CPU]??" Yes. It comes with both Intel and AMD brackets of all types and all fixings for both. The Thermal paste is pre-applied right out of the box, no need to do anything, and yes, it's decent paste, no need to replace it. The CPU Fan connector is a 3 pin, but will work just fine if your CPU header on your motherboard is 4 pin.
People that ask questions before researching generally pisses me off. Like u can find this information with a quick google search instead of asking someone
@@gavinfair7683 "does it work in *insert common motherboard here*? Its like people think Corair doesnt want to make money and made this for Intel chips exclusively lmao
For anyone watching this and thinking you should position the hoses at the top of the radiator, this is not a great idea as the air will gather here and cause water noise, bubbling, etc and also reduce the efficiency of the cooling. The hoses should be placed at the bottom the radiator so that the air gathers at the top of the radiator where it will not be noticeable.
Idk if I'm doing something wrong, but the usd wire the plugs into the side of the pump head and plugs into a usb header, does that cable power the rgb for the pump head? If so idk if the cord is bad but it doesnt work. I have it plugged into JUSB1 and didn't work and I tried JUSB2 as well still the same situation. Same thing goes for one of the fans cables. The cable from the fan that plugs into the pump wires for rgb idk if that's bad also. But both fans spin but only one fans rgb lights work. The cooler works it seems I can feel the water traveling through the tubes and both fans are spinning. However the rgb for the pump head and for one of the fans are not working.
You would usually have intake fans on the front so you can have that front to back airflow so you wouldn't want it exhausting at the front unless you put it on top
Tested!!! doesn't make a difference in performance (fans run higher rpm) so i can hear a little change but it's a hell of a lot better than your Xbox fan💀😂
Have you experienced turning on and off of the cooler with one particular light mode? when i used the other light mode it runs smooth with the same fan speed.
@@itcarecomputers i mean sudden on and off of the cooler when selecting particular rgb light mode. The other rgb light mode run smooth without sudden on and off
Thank god, thought i need to switch out the ML fans for LL because the lighting node core that comes with some corsair cases only support 1 rgb fan type at a time
For this case, I believe it is a NZXT 500 case. Can you explain about how the airflow works with the H100i installation and why they will need to be installed the way you have it? Thanks. Airflow for me is still tricky and how to install fans on PC cases.
I bought my PC used with the AIO already installed and it has different fans on the radiator. The fans don't have the cables that you're holding in your left hand at the10:05 mark in the video. Do I have to have those specific connectors? The fans that are on the radiator are spinning and temps are cool.
I have the corsair H100 pro RBG. Same as you. Will I need the corsair ml rbg fans to sync? I watched a video saying the new corsair rbg fans wouldn't sync in iCUE.
My fans work but i can not get the rgb to work do you need to plug it into an rgb hub that you need to buy seperately or will this work with any motherboard somehow?
I have a question, see the plate you put at the back for the cooler to get placed on, do I need to remove my current one or can I just use the one that I have
I really like this cooler and already have 2 x LL140 fans in my mini itx case (Metallic Gear Neo G Mini) - but I hate all the wires involved & I only have 1 internal usb 2 header on my mobo which is being taken up by the Light Node or commander (can't remember which box it is lol) I think I'd have to add a usb hub which would be another little black box to hide & the wiring just for 2 LL140's already was a nightmare.
I dont know if i saw anywhere in the video of you connecting the 4 pin pwm. I still dont have mine plugged in and wondering where its supposed to be plugged into...
@@shulerstudios9731 no fan just usb cable that from aio_pump to motherboard. And fans connect with female connector that coming from aio_pump.. Another cable 3pin of aio_pump connect also motherboard
Hey man, quick question. Did you use a commander pro or node pro for the fans? I have the same CPU cooler and for whatever reason my fans aren't lighting up and everything is connected correctly as well. I've been looking at youtube videos to see if i possibly did anything wrong and everything looks the same.
it care & computers yeah, the pump itself lights up I can control rgb no problem. only half of one fan turned on for a little bit but then it just switched off and hasn’t turned on since all cables are connected correctly triple checked it.
So the fans plug into an adaptor and they get power from the SATA power connector? I have this, and 6 other corsair fans going into a build and i want to make sure i don't need anything more than the Lighting Node PRO
what gpu was this in the video? Also was it a 3 fan? Im building with the same case and want to make sure a 3 fan gpu wont be too big and get close to the fans on the radiator.
All the other videos I’ve seen have the fans and rad swapped where the fans are in the front of the case instead of the rad. Is there a reason you chose the orientation you chose?
Just depends if you're building a push or pull air flow build. You can have the fans push air through the rad or pull it through from the other side. The fans have arrows on them so you can see which way the air flows through the fan to make this easier.
Hallo. Eine Frage. Kannst du mir vielleicht sagen. Passt „MB ASUS ROG Strix B365-F Gaming Mainboard“, und oben eine „Corsair Hydro Series H100i RGB Platinum SE Wasserkühlung/CPU-Flüssigkeitskühlung (240mm Radiator, Zwei LL120 RGB-PWM-Lüfter, Erweiterte softwaregesteuerte RGB Beleuchtung) weiß“. Passt das ganze in das Gehäuse Corsair iCUE 465X RGB überhaupt rein?
@@itcarecomputers Hi there. A question. Maybe you can tell me. Fits “MB ASUS ROG Strix B365-F Gaming Mainboard ”, and above a“ Corsair Hydro Series H100i RGB Platinum SE Water cooling / CPU liquid cooling (240mm radiator, two LL120 RGB-PWM fan, advanced software-controlled RGB lighting) White". The whole thing fits into the Corsair iCUE 465X RGB case at all in?
@@100nirosta yes of course. www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Cases/Software-Control-and-Monitoring-Cases/iCUE-465X-RGB-Mid-Tower-ATX-Smart-Case/p/CC-9011189-WW
Yes. Connect the USB from the mini USB on the pump, then just connect the fans PWM and RGB connectors to the pump wires, then just hook up the PSU Sata cable. Finally, just plug in the CPU_fan header on the Motherboard.
1. Is the coolant or water what you put into the water cooling or is already inside. 2. Is the water or coolant already in there or you have to fill it in yourself
Corsair really needs to do something about that clusterfuck of wires. $20 extra for the Fractal where you dont have to deal with that crap seems more than reasonable.
Hey @it care & computers, i have a question to the fans. Like you installed your fans and the radiator it not really make sense because you pull the heat out of the pc and push it through the radiator or am i wrong ??? because i wanted to install it like the same ... but now i think it make more sense to pull the cold air through the front and oush it into the pc. can someone explain me pls ?
@@itcarecomputers thanks for the fast answer, just 1 more question, should I use on my motherboard the w_pump connection, the aio_pump or just the regular cpu fan? (the cable which is together with the sata power) Thanks bro still really helpful your video 👌🏼
@@jonas7464u welcome bro. Single cable conect with aio_pump and cooler fan cables with connectors thats coming from pump. My english is not good i hope you understand ☺️
Hello I need help with this , what do I do with the rgb hub connectors , if I don’t have a Corsair controller do I plug those into the motherboard rgb connections ? I did that and I have no colors also I connected the fans to the motherboard like a normal fan system fan connection . I turned it on I have everything running no rgb lights and no control on fan speeds for the top fans (Corsair fans ) using I cue software .
Hi there i have a question. The case i want to install this in is the nzxt h500. Will this fit on the side like it is on your case? Please i need an answer.
Hey maybe you can help me :( if is start everything is working except the pump LEDs dont turn on :/ USB is connected and i can use the icue software to switch fan color/speed and it also shows the pump as active with active lights .. but there is no light :(
Would you say this was something a complete beginner could install without worrying? I’m going to build my first PC soon and it needs liquid cooling but I’m hesitant to build it myself since complete beginner, liquid and electronics sounds like a bad combination to me
Yes. I just installed this for the first time in my new build. First AIO water cooling that I've ever done. Very easy and there are more vids like this of how to install it. I would say though, to install the MB in the case first before hooking this up to the CPU.
What the hell, I've double, triple, quadruple checked mine, that was working perfectly fine a week ago and none of my light are working😡😡😡 could my power supply be failing because it is an older one pumping out 400 watts in a gaming pc
If your Fans don't turn on immediately. Don't freak out just yet. Download Corsair's software ICUE and go to your Commander Pro or your fans and make sure they are selected. Then you can add custom lighting under lighting effects.
Mister Radke I didn’t connect the RGB cable because it says “to RGB hub” and I don’t think I have one. Can you please tell me if I should still plug it into the motherboard. Please reply :(
@@andrewsoto1630 I believe you need to have the Commander Pro or "RGB hub" if your motherboard doesn't offer LED. It's better to spend the extra 50$ on the Commander Pro.
Buddy Im not sure. I think it requires the RGB hub and the Commander Pro cause you need to ensure you have a fan connector and rgb connector on the hub. Haven't seen a 10$one
so i plugged the 1pin from the pump to the cpu fan unit on my motherboard but my pump doesnt light up ? could i be that my psu is too low or did i plugged something wrong
What are those 2, 4 pin connectors coming off the socket. I bought and installed mine and dont have the wire where those 2 cables connect so I left them unplugged. please reply, their name and function would be really helpful
Hype Man does it work unplugged? Or where did you connect them because I’m having the same issue installing it. Same motherboard and cooler as in this vid.
