I've had a lot of requests on a CUE 2 demo / tutorial, and I've been putting it off for probably far too long. So, here it is, hope it covers what you're looking for! Whenever i shut down my computer and start it up again, i have to manually activate the program so the rgb comes up. How do i make it automatic so i dont always have to open up the program just to activate the rgb lighting. Please help

There should be a Start with Windows option listed somewhere. Alternatively, you can add the launcher to your startup programs.

There is a Strafe that's Red LED only. If you bought an RGB Strafe, it'll definitely say on the box.

i got the Corsair K68 RGB a few days ago and i love it for office work, i use the RGB colors to make work moore efficient, first i made a light blue almost white background, then i also only colored the buttons i use most and need to find easily, i have the color on the numbers change to red when i press them and stay lite for 2 seconds, caps lock and num lock change to red when pressed and change back when pressed again. enter button is the only button i made flashing and shifting colors otherwise it would give me a headache the best part about this is that i do not need to be afraid of it getting wet and damaged like other expensive keyboards i purchased before and though in the garbage because of water damage

Hi great video, but there's one thing id like to point out. I'm a beta tester for Corsair and suggested the demo devices be added in the first place. They actually added the demo devices in, so creators don't have to buy all the devices to make a complete profile, but I can see how it could be seen as a push to sell more products. You seem to be very familiar with the software soooo. If you have any feedback on the software in any way I would be more then happy to hear them, and pass them on the head developer. Wow, that's neat! I see, that makes sense. I hadn't thought of it from a creator's aspect, that's a good idea! The only big thing I can think of is allowing Lighting Link and other Basic Mode lighting effects to be used simultaneously (for example, a static light for the keyboard and mousepad while also having the Visor effect bounce back and forth between the two). Other people have told me that they miss Modes from the original CUE, but that's not something I'm overly concerned with, since Profile Switching is virtually the same. And no, I don't mind! Thanks!

Thank you for the video! I just got my 3rd k70 replacement and this k70lux is not able to run old software! all my old profiles are useless. So I am starting from scratch and your video really helped out where Corsair just dropped the ball. Maybe I will get more than 6 months out of this one since I think the others had software issues , Corsair wouldn't tell me why my old keyboards would start to double click they just replaced them.

how do i make my keyboard make the ripple effect make a "hold" effect. For example, you can only press a key and it ripples. If I hold it, it should keep making that ripple effect. But instead, it just puts 1 ripple. Is this in anyway, possible for this to happen?

I can not figure out how to save to the onboard storage for lighting profile using the corsair Glaive paired with a k70 lux. When I first got the mouse I could save to the onboard storage but once I got the keyboard I was having issue saving to the devices.

so my keyboard is not using its presets that are in the hardware. the manual says that the cue take president over the hardware. How can i turn the cue off for my keyboard. If i can i'd like to keep my mouse on it though.

Thanks- nice quick tutorial. I just got a K95 Platinum: very disappointed with the onboard storage. You can save only one lighting effect to each. The dark background of CUE2 needs improvement. I think I would get something cheaper if I had to do it over. Build quality is good.

Oh, that's sad. Guess 8 mb only gets you so far. I mostly only ever use dark schemes, so the dark background never really bothered me, but I think you can change it to your liking if you have your own images to use. And I agree, the price tag on the K95 Platinum is like whacky-bonkers, even if it is supposed to be their best keyboard ever. But I guess I can look into that further when mine finally comes in.... in March...

I was trying to remap the media buttons on my k55 but the media buttons specifically the mute sound button does not seem to be listed, All I want to do is make it Mute my Mic and NOT Mute the sound. I brought a k55 RGB from Amazon, the keyboard is all new by it's appearance. but the problem start when I connected it with my pc. 10:00 briefly shows the Launch Application option. It's pretty straight forward from there. 9:06 to see how to assign it to a key.

Thanks a lot for this, i bought the K95 PLATINUM RGB and can't find how to "save to device" it is just not there, i come from the STRAFE RGB Keyboard and it was working. I removed CUE, cleaned registry and installed new version and same. I also had to delete hardware profiles as it was constant erroring with "your stored profiles doesn't match..." well, now i can see them anymore or a way to restore them. Kinda lost here, thanks for your help in advance.

I have my keyboard set to two colors (one for main keyboard and the rest for the arrow's and number pad). I want to have to so when I press a key it lights up in the opposite side of the keyboard color. I have tried this in simple mode but the "touch type" only seems to apply to the whole keyboard and NOT to each of the halves like you can setup with lighting.

I'm pretty sure I know what you're trying to do, and that has to be done in Advanced Mode. You'll need two layers for your two keyboard colors, and two more layers - one for each "opposite" color. Then you can set each of the latter two to a Gradient effect and have them trigger on key press, and play once. Hope this helps!
