Always loved the Cortina's had a few always preferred the Mk1, Mk2 and Mk3s, had a mk1 1500gt, Mk2 1600E and mk3 1600 GT loved them all, use to use the Ace Cafe as a kid, back in the 60s with my dad in the truck

Brings back happy memories mate ….. 1974 I bought a Cortina Mk2 1600E ( Reg TAL 623G ) £450 …. Had it for five years and part ex’d for a MK2 Escort RS 2000 …

My dad had an mk5 Cortina 1.6 L estate in navy with crusader stripe down the side of the car, with standard cortina steel wheels with chrome rings NCS 511W think the car is long gone now, it was last taxed in 92 i think.

It really pains me to see very pristine condition of all your cortinas there mates . Cause i used to have one . Mines a 1978 cortina ghia mk 4 in a very pristine condition with ronal mags with original pcd 107.5 and rim 15s . With burton parts all the all up to the bottom end with twin 44 idf weber carburators and konis all the way and lastly my pride and avons .
