i love cortinas = and had a few = 1965 GT 1500 mk1 - later a escort RS1600 1970 model = now 2001 GT forester turbo sti swapped .

Loved my Cortina Mk2 1600GT (1970) ‘TOF 264H’ in Bermuda blue, mid blue interior,bought in 79’, the crossflow 711M engine is epic 👌🏻fantastic looking car , well done 👌🏻😎

Lovely example, and good to hear that it's a daily driver. Looks fabulous on the ROH Sprintmaster mags. Custom centres? Not quite "top-of-the-range" though. In Australia we had the GT L (equivalent to Brit 1600E). We've had a GT L, two GTs and a 440 over the years, and great fun to drive, especially on dirt.

I agree with Steve, the car is stunning, art gallery class, I'vehad a few Cortina in my life, company cars put an end to me owning one but I still think thy are the best cars ever made.

Love it mate! We all do our cars different - that's the beauty. Mine is sporting a 2 litre Zetec. Just need paint now. Hopefully put up pics soon when finished.
