A factory is polluting "Corumba Land" with smoke, and it's up to little Corumba to save the day. This is a little fan game I'm creating. It is an arcade version and will only have 8 levels (subject to changes).
A small curious detail about the video: I had finished changing a setting for the first boss, but I hadn't tested how it turned out... so it took me by surprise. I'm updating to make it easier.
How the idea for the game came about:
The character "Corumba" is based on Pablo, the streamer of the @CorumbaPlay channel. He got this nickname because he lives in Corumbá - MT (Brazil). Pablo helped me a lot in promoting my projects, having his first time playing (in live) "Donkey Kong vs. K. Rool Challenge" in 2021, where he spent 4 hours to complete. After this, he played "Super Mario Wonderland" and "Super Mario Bros. Proto Remix" (all in one live) in 2023. And he also completed one of the challenges to be able to play "Kiddy Kong's Challenge" for the first time, which was also another project he completed (the beta version).
As a thank you for all of this, in addition to the promotions and etc, I made this fan game as a thank you. The game is Brazilian and will only be available in Brazilian Portuguese... in fact, this is my first game in this language.
It will be a mix of Super Mario with Contra and other games. Each level contains its way of gameplay.
You are seeing a beta version! Obviously a lot will be changed in the future.
News:
Super Mario Wonderland (beta/prototype) is in development on the final level! That's right, the last level of the game! After that I will do the final boss battle and ending. However, the bonus rooms and extra world will remain for future updates.
