Corvette c5 knocking noise ls1.. Lifters? Bearings? 

Def doesn’t sound like knock. From the video it almost sounds like an exhaust leak. Might be a bent pushrod or a bad lifter. Looked like all your rockers were moving freely. I just had to go through my c6. Just cammed it and there’s a whole checklist. Exhaust leak, check rockers for cracks or bad bearing, make sure pushrods aren’t bent. If it still has problems you might want to check lifters. If there was knock it would sound more pronounced than that

It was fixed I swapped out the lifters I had brand new LS7 lifters in I even let them soak in oil for 2 days before installing and they some how ended up being bad I guess because when I bought some other ls7 lifters the noise went away

Sounds like an exhaust leak. The headers are right there too.

Almost sounds like the valves hitting the seating a lot.. because it sounds like air is in between that noise.

This is exactly how my car sounds right it has a valve seal leak & it’s been making this noise

looked like the rocker bolts were all shaking like they were loose very slightly. but who knows.

Just rubbed a little old spice deodorant and that tick sound will go away for sure

my truck 4.8 was making the same noise, the lifters were working but the actual roller was delaminated. Found out becuase i dropped the oil pan and the cam journals were toast.

Is this an overhead valve engine? Camshaft in the middle? Sohc?
