I love this content! Shame about the WEC copyright situation but it's still great to have all this IMSA stuff. Shame the Spa 24h doesn't usually have onboard streams that I know of because it's a great race and it's this weekend!
Thank you! Its funny The Heart of Racing was actually streaming the race on their youtube, so I asked if they would mind if I used their footage. They said no problem but the ACO shut down their stream 8 hours into the race! I treated that as a canary in the coal mine, so I'm staying as far away as possible haha
This upcoming WEC season is going to be freaking insane. A packed ultra competitive gt3 grid with multiple brand new car chassis, AND a packed hypercar grid with at most 10 different manufacturers, likely over 20 cars. The racing is going to be legendary.

@@GroovedSlick Potrero de los Funes !!! That circuit is fantastic! I had the opportunity to go see it FIA GT1! despite the fact that I live more than 500 kilometers from there. They are circuits like the Nurburgring, they are not designed, they copy the area of the place and that is how the most beautiful circuits are born. Waiting for your next videos!
Wow, I am so envious you went to that race!!! I watched that race as soon as it was uploaded to youtube. Those were the coolest cars ever at the best circuit 🤤
Vipers were running competitively all the way to 2007, corvette racing entered the scene in 01 and won consecutively three times to 04. And has been racing till today since the C5. Check your facts man. It’s a shame they killed of the viper, but it leaving the competitive scene was just foreshadowing to dodge killing it off. But no one knew at the time.
They executed the W.G. race as good as it gets but in the end they weren`t as fast. Watch the winners drive away from them on the straights.Corvette got screwed the last two years in IMSA.The only thing that was going for them is they have good drivers in their car. and they rarely make any pit stop mistakes.It`s strange that an American series is more biased against an American brand than the WEC which at least gave them a fighting chance to win last year and this year.In all the qualifying in IMSA you can see Corvette drivers thrashing it, going ten tenths more than the other competitors IMO and having poles allude them.They have not been sandbagging it or lost the driver`s edge.I can`t understand why IMSA BOP`s them from competing.I thought the idea was to excite race fans so they go to races?

I live 10 minutes from the track. I was at this race, as well as all of the past races here. This was definitely one of the most caution filled starts I can remember, surprisingly because the weather was so nice. (I normally sit in the Toe of the Boot or Turn 1).
You really explained things so well and expanded a newbie's understanding of the subtleties of how overtaking can be made out of the slightest errors and omissions. Great work!
