Cory Asbury talks about "These Are the Days" 

I'm so moved by this song because I've lived most of it. I'm at the stage where he's 21 and looking for that wife to buy that home. He comes from a broken home and so do I but we have to somehow, with God's grace and mercy, get by the drama and brokeness we've lived and focus on the moments "that we'll want back". They won't remember the huge gifts or vacations you buy for them. They remember the times you came out to shoot hoops with them when you just got home instead of looking for "that glass of cheap wine". Now he's a US Marine and playing in the local church worship band - probably singing one of your songs, Cory. It might take time, but they figure it out. Love you, brother!

Corey, I tried when my kids were young( I actually homeschooled all 4, was told how fast time flies...it did, and I'm glad I spent those precious moments with them!❤
