Did you guys also notice that when Bradley tells Cory about the deleted footage the thing that make him most upset is the fact that she says 'Hall is the only one I have left (after losing my mom and Laura). She excludes Cory from an important role in her life with that remark. You can see how this hurts him, more then the whole footage thing. He then looks at her again and you can just see how much he cares for her and he immediately decides to help her (I will allways have your back) But after that he wants her out of his house and life. Cause it just hurts to much. He starts cleaning frantically (just like his mother does when she is really upset). He also troughs away the bracelet from the woman he tried to date, which did not work out off course. You can even see Crudups face light up a little when Bradley picks up this bracelet earlier in the scene. He has a look like 'yeah what about that' and he hopes she will have some sort of reaction to the fact there is another woman. But she just completely skips that as well. To some it up: the way Crudup plays Cory is really nuanced and extremely moving. The actor picks every suitable moment to play out his vulnerability towards Bradely. Crudup is more then an awesome actor. Just watch his face even closer, it will break your heart.
100% - these two have so many similarities and the show keeps drawing parallels between them which I hope is a good sign for their future. Thanks for watching
Thanks so much. I really hope the show pursues these two. Season 3 was a low point for us fans, but i'm hoping after their last scene in episode 10, season 4 will be a turning point for them.
She is emotionally abusive and manipulative. I'm not sure why. It wasn't really explained in the episode why she acted the way she did, but it essentially taught us why Cory is the way he is. Maybe it's because Cory's dad left her and she takes out all of her anger on Cory?
