Cory vs o'malley is one of the most hype fights that could be made in the entirety of the ufc. That would be one of the most technical striking matchups in the history of the UFC. I love everything about this guy. His mentality is so special that even as a non-fighter I'm still thinking about buying his mentality course. If I can become 1% more like him by listening that course I think it's going to be worth it.

O'Malley vs Merab is ok but I'd much rather see O'Malley vs Sandhagen. Merab is a boring fighter. His pace is unreal but all he does is shoot takedown. That fight against Yan sucked.

Cory Sandhagen has become one of my favorite fighters to watch inside the cage due to the evolution of skills & display of fighting IQ. The man is also interesting to listen to outside of it due to his intellectual humility, curiosity, & perspective in regards to fighting & life in general. The guy has arguably earned a championship fight. O'Malley vs Sandhagen is the fight to make, that's a striking fan's delight. Merab is the only other man in the division to dispute a title shot.

Cap. He was called out so much, especially by the contenders. Is it more forgiving? Yes but it's cause Alex is more activate. Umar made his debut nearly a full year before Alex yet has half the fights and pulled out of 5 fights. Also Alex wasn't ranked before he KO'd Strickland. Umar ko'd Barcelos who wasn't even ranked they placed him at 11th

Because fighting Alex gets money and accolades, fighting umar is all risk and in fact will ruin your value if you lose . Corey lost to umar he have to make sure he had second career , couple more fights win or lose with top guys he’s set . Corey’s not best example because he is established but guys your talking about are crushed with a umar loss

No Ariel it's not weird that the UFC is trying to book Umar with a higher ranked contender because those who know the sport, know that Umar's ranking isn't at all representative of his skill relative to the rest of the division. Did you ask the same question about UFC booking Benoit St Denis vs a top ranked opponent? Or course not, because BSD isn't Dagestani or Muslim, so Ariel has no reason to be negative towards him.
