I have never identified with an opera character so much in my life 😂 *eats cake* I love their other duet on here and I really need to see this whole opera at long last 💕

My favoriate version of my favorite opera!! Buy the Glydebourne version of Cossi immediately! What a wonderful production, Anke Vondung is so great!

This is a wonderful aria. Absolutely first rate Mozart. Unfortunately it was often cut in 19th century productions since it was felt to be morally questionable. It has only been recently restored in most, though not all, productions.

not sure about the entire aria (though dramatically she's spot on) but that "cosi" at 2:45 was simply exquisite.
