what a mesmerising album, strong contender for one of the best atmospheric black albums of all time, superb musicianship particularly "vangittu", please do one more album cc!
6:00 Chords? my big brain is getting Amaj (held) Bmaj - Fmaj --- Amaj - Bmin - A#maj back to Amaj. Sounds about right, will have to bust out the Drop A Explorer guitar after work and give it a go.
It’s not even about the quality, it’s more about owning the large artwork and packaging and just enjoying having a great piece of music on a more analog format, but yes in general if you have good equipment most people will agree that vinyl sounds better.
jacob v.d.c I’m not sure unfortunately, I’d like to know myself. probably on the band camp though, that’s where I read that the vinyl would be released in 2019
@@Bmetalful Actually, vinyl is a better quality for most stereo setups, but when you get into super high end hi-fi audio, CD is the best format (specifically SACD). So to answer your question, if you had a pair of KEF LS50 or something around their, you'd get a better result out of CD. That's not to say that analogue is worse, because the difference really is minimal. And if you wanted to go one step higher, master tapes are obviously the purest form of quality (you can actually stream FLAC master tapes for certain songs on TIDAL).
