the dogs and derpy faces are things that show up in the chat if you type certain things, like when you type in FrankerZ it shows up in the twitch chat as the dog face. he isnt japanese but the reason for it is alot of game's text goes faster if its in japanese because it is shorter, like each word is just a symbol, therefore its a faster way to play the game which is the entire point of speedrunning
