One of the best games ever made, by far. It shaped my life in so many ways. I still live by the teachings and philosophies that were shared in the story, especially the ones about creation and the planet's lifeforce. If you are a fan of RPGs, you MUST play this game at least once in your lifetime.
One of my favorite pieces for over 20 years. I have heard many versions but the majestry of the blending of instrument and style is phenomenal. The addition of I believe the banjo and violin takes this to not only a new height emotionally but in changing how I believed what instruments and arrangements should bring this to life. Thank you for this masterpiece.
I needed this song right now. Perhaps it is only nostalgia, but this song has always instilled a feeling in me that no matter how dire things seem, good will always continue to strive against great evil.
i heard a lot of cover since Cosmo Canyon music is one of my favourite song since i heard it in 96. This cover deserve to be in the remake, really. Hello from france, and thank you for this song.
Best of the current remakes out there right now imho. Well done! Much more of a genuine feel, compared to the most popular one out there atm. Actually made the banjo and the rock guitar work too, which is tough because they're kinda the odd-ducks as far as instrumentation goes I think. Also like the little interlude where the violin and banjo get the melody, that was nice. Subjectively, some things I wasn't fond of were : Replacing the plucked doublebass with a single line guitar, as the replacement comes across as thin, and the single note guitar on the right channel sounded a little plain. (even just 2 notes strummed in 4ths woulda sounded a little more natural). Other than that, good stuff.
I haven’t played FF7 yet, but I have heard the soundtrack and this is one of my favorites. If you’re continuing with more Trauma Center remixes, can you consider Severing the Chains of Fate?
It is always a good time to play FFVII, dont wait any longer for your first run, you wont regret any second of it. and if you already love the music, it will be an enjoyable journey.
