I think all these cosplayers are just lovely. They are bold enough to go to the huge trouble of creating the costumes then wearing them in public at a Con and take their chances against everyone else with a costume no doubt comparing them at every opportunity. It is just a very delightful and fun thing and I'm glad they can get hundreds of people together at one time all for the sake of a fantastic assemblage of immortal characters!
I'm the Havoc Trooper at 0:17. Thank you SO much for the video! First time wearing it, first con, first cosplay, first armor build, first cosplay competition. Designed by MysteryMakers. Took about 70 days of print time plus more to sand and paint it. For the Republic!
It took me a minute to figure out what his deal was, but I got a laugh out of it once I did. What a way to put a little extra on what was already a pretty good Qui-gon
The entire video I was smiling. I need to get to one of these Celebrations sometime in my life. The time and effort these people put into these costumes is nothing short of amazing! I always get gitty when I see Rex cosplay, especially after knowing his background and history with so many key characters in the Star Wars universe. Definitely one of my all time favorite Star Wars characters.
These are my people! I want to go to a Star Wars celebration and dress up one day. No segregation or stereotypes against others, just fans enjoying what they love 😊
I'm the green center Mando at 6:02 ! @mcarthurart_ Not sure who the Din Djarin and Bo Katan are, I only just met them then and there haha. Fanatastic compilation here! A lot of brilliant cosplays I'm sad to have missed in person.
So many incredible works!!! The dedication and talent is outstanding! 😱👏😍 Also some of them I’m really curious to know how they can see where they are going 😅
The level was so high! And I didn't catch all of my favorites on video since there were sooo many great costumes! :) And yes, I also wonder how some on them can see anything at all :P
As a Mandalorian myself, it takes practice strangely enough to be aware of your surroundings in the helmet. Also handlers can make the biggest difference especially with Vader and other suits like that.
@@lilbluemandowatchesstuff9612 Thank you for your insight, hence the Stormtrooper incident! 😅 Well, major props!!! Any blunders can always be interpreted as an homage to said Stormtrooper, so you're covered/canon either way!!! 😂😜
We went as Hawaii Style Holiday Troopers (if only we didn't choose Scarif....). Was an amazing event. Old Man Rex was amazing, super nice guy. Shout out to 2 cosplayers that didn't appear but have their stickers as part of my PC case's stickerbomb, Tiger Armoury and Der Kleine Impi, plus all the others. The interactions at these events are something else.
Man id love to see a CoD like star wars shooter game where you fight alongside with Rex during then Clone Wars or the Galactic Civil War. Rex would be like Captain Price.
Love the costumes! Once upon a time, being the IP holder gave absolute power over a franchise. That day is done. If the IP holder insists on not bringing out new content or bringing out garbage content, we can now make our own. I invite all my fellow Star Wars fans to enjoy another unauthorized novel completely free. Just google Legend of the Harp Jedi.
Try telling Disney that they don't have absolute power over the Star Wars IP and just see how many lawyers they will throw at you. All of this pretty much exists at their sufferance.
@@hemaccabe4292 It's non commercial fanfiction as I said, it exists at their sufferance... try making money from the IP and see what happens to you. Disney own the IP, wishing otherwise does not change that fact.
@@tankicat First of all some idiot fanfic writer who was writing LotR fanfic and selling it on Amazon just sued Amazon for copyright infringement for stealing his story for Rings of Power, so not so impossible. Still, as a fanfic creator I don't expect to be paid more than the occasional tip. However, as a SW fan, I could spend the rest of my life just reading good fanfics and watching good fanfic videos. I don't need Disney anymore. That is what I mean about Disney not controlling the IP.
@@hemaccabe4292 Then phrase it correctly by saying that Disney don't control the fandom, rather than incorrectly saying the don't control the IP. As for the LotR thing he is suing re the story idea not over possession of the IP which is a totally separate thing and belongs to Tolkien's estate. And IP holders can go after non commercial use of their IP if they feel like it, so don't get too complacent.
