Thankyou for that video, very helpful 😊 I'm goin to be X-23 for comic con this year. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work 😊 stay awesome and keep smiling 😄
May have to look into getting some of that foam. We have been using resin, there are a few projects we may be trying in the future that would be worthwhile into getting something softer. Good job man.
You can eliminate bubbles at the tips of your castings by extending your molds further past the desired finishing point. I do this simply by poking a hole in the end of the mold with a piece of wire, so the casting material can flow further past the tip of the mold. Some casting material may dribble out so keep and eye on it, and don't make the hole too big. The other method is to extend the ends of your molds a little when you make them, so the bubbles will be past the ends of your castings and not on your castings.
I do an X-23 cosplay and I made my claws out of plexi-glass but they seem to be on their last days. I'm looking to make a new set and I think I may give this a try. Thanks!
man this is a great job seriously ! I'm thinking of doing it a pair for my self but if you can sell me a pair let me know ! after finishing writing this you'll have a new subscriber 😎
Hey Chris. I'm interested in making some claws of my own and I was wondering if you still know the dimensions you used on your claws. If so, it'd be a big help to get those. Thanks you.
have you ever considered selling your completely better than the original and furnished products? If so where can I get one! great job with your other projects.
I think you should make sense as creed gauntlet. Cause it doesn't sound creed. I would love them to have those Wolverine. Closing my collection. A love wolver him. He's my idol since it's a lover wondering I want you to make sense as crazy
Great vid dude, gonna make my own set for upcoming comic con! how did you make the claw you originally cast and how did you make the mould? im a beginner when it comes to casting!
Hey Ben, I just ground out 1 blade from balsa wood then secured it upright, made a box around it, then poured silicone around it to make a 1 pieces mold that is split down the side :)
Hello, so I was wondering if you could tell how you made the mold? It's a very good mold, so I was wondering how you did it/what the trick is (other than practice). I was also wondering if you could list what the liquids you used (I found it a little hard to see in the video). Thanks this was a super helpful video!
Hey man, I'm about to sub. great stuff. I don't have all this gear and I'm sure people want you to make them a pair. If you were...say, to sell a pair.. could we discuss pricing and more cause I'd love to use these for Halloween since I've never really had a good costume.. ever.
It’s true cosplayers do do it best but it be cheaper for me if I bought pair claws I saw wolverine claws at spirit of Halloween store it’s seasonal store comes around once year if I was being wolverine I buy them not make I don’t have tools I would buy shirt saying COSPLAYERS DO IT BEST enjoy your videos I have fun watching them
