Cosplay Contest and Grand Championship 

Hey Comments section! I am the Will, Scion of Peace cosplayer who was lucky enough to be selected as the Novice Judge's Choice winner! A ton of blood, sweat, and tears went into everyone's costumes and I had an absolute blast with my first ever cosplay and first ever contest. If you ever had a desire to start into the wild world of cosplaying, diving in with your favorite MTG character and their MagicCon Contests is a great place to start! The MTG Cosplay Community is incredibly supportive and there's so many knowledgeable cosplayers just willing to share their experience. Being back stage with everyone chatting about how they built their costumes was a ton of fun and I can't wait to see some of them again at the next event! Thanks a ton to Wizards for hosting such a fun event to be a part of!

Hi everyone!! I’m the first cosplayer up (Gisa Cecani) and I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone else who was in the contest. They made me feel so welcome and I am immensely proud of these contests. This was my first ever attempt at a cosplay/ sewing anything to this degree. I know it wasn’t the best on that stage but it was a lot of blood sweat and tears. Can’t wait for the next event where I can do even better and make many more friends in this amazing community!!

Greetings from Syr Ginger's cosplayer! I was Tamiyo at MC Barcelona and it was my very first event in the USA! Thank you so much for all the support and reception from the community, I look forward to share more cosplays with y'all. A bit sad that the international cosplayers couldn't join the rest on stage at the very end and that the contest was open only to US residents but it is what it is. See you next time o/
