Rewatching this with you made me realize a huge hole in the "I can't contact Cat Noir because I don't know who he is" thing. She knows that Tikki knows his real identity; why not just send Tikki off to find him when he's needed. Marinette could just hide or something while she waits for Tikki to come back. Yeah, maybe a bit risky if Shadowboth captures the kwami, but surely in an emergency it would be worth it.

One thing I noticed was that Marinette took the time to get to know him as Cat Noir more and learned to fall in love him as Cat Noir whereas Adrien just instantly fell in love with her after knowing she was Ladybug.

I don't always believe in the senti-monster Adrien theory but the way Gabriel was speaking and mucking about with his ring slightly helps with it.

This episode was quite a god tier with how things played out. It still is incredible to watch again

I think Luka received the message from Ladybug. She basically gave away her identity, but she thinks Luka won't remember what happened if Sass uses Second Chance. That would've been the case but Luka knows their identities either way because of Wishmaker.

the one thing about this episode I liked was how long it took Mari to realize her feelings and allow those feelings to grow for Chat Noir as equally or as close to equally as adrien... it didn't happen right away and it took until the second umbrella scene with Chat's weapon in the rain for Ladybug aka Mari to fully connect the two personalities together and see them as one person Adrien thus letting her feelings grow for both personalities and being comfortable enough to then reveal her identity to Adrien.... Also I don't like how the past guardian was just projecting his fears onto the group of superheroes and more specifically Mari I think without that projection the reveal would happen in a different way.... but at least we got a chance to see what would happen if Gabriel had the opprotunity to merge miraculouses and make his wish.. i just wish the episode was longer or at least split into two episodes like heroe's day was so there would be more time for explinations and the scenes wouldn't have felt rushed like they did... my thoughts is that this could have happened but Luka could have already known Who LB was because of the Wishmaker Episode when both Mari and Adrien were hit with the Akuma's magic to reveal their identities because of their childhood dreams... now I think it was erased by Viperion because he went back in time enough times to give LB the information she needed to quickly defeat the Villan before he could have hit either of them so they wouldn't have revealed their identites and we are still in this timeline... so it could be thought that Viperion already knows both LB's and CN's Identities but LB doesn't know that fact so she reveals her identity for this plan the part we didn't see and it's confirmed for Viperion aka Luka so when he later gets a text message from Marinette saying "Sass is in my sewing box" it's not a secret who messaged him and he jumps into action... all because he already knew who LB was to begin with...

29:52-30:09 about Beth’s comment about why is sass going back in time is not better than hawkmoth making a wish. Let’s actually break this down with the Hawkmoth’s Wish the whole universe is gonna be destroyed and rebuilt differently. The time line is rewritten so that Emile never got put in a coma that one event is the catalyst for the whole series. So that would mean no ladybug and cat noir all the stuff they have done would have been erased. Some examples are Nino and Alaya never becoming a couple, Fei in Shanghai still living on the streets stealing for information, The guardians still pretty much dead in feast’s belly, Alaya and marinette and in-turn Adrien and Nino never becoming friends, all the good they have done for the city and their friends gone .Most importantly the biggest effect would be the clause in the Wish. Master Fu Stated in robostus “that for every action, there is a reaction… a price to be paid”. So say Hawkmoth does his wish Emile would be back but it’s most likely Adrien would have been the price to pay. Meaning there is a good chance he would have never existing or he would be the one in the comma instead of Emile. Now with sass going back the majority of the time line stays the same with not much being lost except for maybe a week of time. So the Sass option is really the only the only non damaging option they had and is way better than Hawkmoth making a wish

One of the things that probably bugs me the most about this show, is how they act as if they don't have private lives. Marinette acts most of the time as if she's the only one with a private life.

Also Luka is 1 of the 2 hero that Adrien DOES know the secret identity of without being told. As Adrien he recommended Luka for the position after Adrien failed so many times. So unless car noir is acting (unlikely) is seems like the animators forgot that Adrien is supposed to know.

I don’t really think Gabriel would just automatically just go evil when finding out Adrien’s secret identity. Be a tad more psychological manipulating without really using an akuma. Showing his compassion in showing Adrian that he did everything for his family. And that makes Adrien believe he’s willingly betraying Marinette for what he believes is the right thing. Maybe even try to to convince her and it leads to a lovers to enemies dynamic.

About Marinette sending Luka the message as Ladybug, Thomas said that Ladybug thought Luka would be able to decipher what she meant since he's Luka. So yeah she did give up her identity.

I feel so bad cuz I'm actually simping hard for Shadow Noir 😂 imo it's his best transformation look so far although he could opt for a hairstyle once, but when life gives you lemons... 🤷‍♀️

About the Wish from the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous: Master Fu said that a price would be paid as an exchange for the wish to come true. Usually an equal exchange. If Miraculous goes in an Marvel way of Timetraveling or timeline corruption then somebody else will die in the Agreste Family instead of Emilie. In that regard it could be mostly Adrien or Gabriel himself who dies. It would always lead to the birth of an Shadow Moth, a Ladybug and a Cat Hero. So I feel like it was the right decision to reset with Sass because otherwise it will happen again but in an different timeline Btw loving your reactions, normally a quiet viewer but I wanted to give you my thought of the Wish thing. Always a good time with this content💜

I’ve only just discovered this amazing channel, and this was the most entertaining video I’ve ever seen!! I laughed so hard and this was so much fun to watch!!

"If we know each others identities, it would only take one of us to get akumatized." Someone made a comment saying that Chat Noir has been under so many Akuma spells that Chat could have revealed his own identity to Hawkmoth by now, yet that didn't happen. I thought that comment was funny. Miraculous logic for you.

And yet somehow even though Gabriel has "seen" Cat Noir and Adrian together he immediately jumps to the conclusion that Adrien is Cat Noir because he used a term of endearment that although not common isn't rare either. I hate when a moment of bad writing ruins an otherwise great episode. Double check if I'm wrong, but I believe Adrien was with Ladybug when she originally gave Luka the miraculous after Adriens' failure with it. Also the ending shows that the writers wrote themselves into a corner and had no idea how to finish the episode. I will say I do appreciate that Marinette had to come to terms with Adrien being Cat Noir and not just accepting it. Still want to see Ladybug be a little more accepting of Cat Noir though. You should consider doing a cold watch sometime in the future. One of the best reactions that occurred was when Momo hadn't seen the episode ahead of time.

This is one of my faves, but I HAD A FEELING that there was going to be a reset. As soon as it gets good, here comes Gabriel ruining it for everyone.

Marinette knows that Luka knows both their identities because of wishmaker. He swore he would never tell and has kept his promise. She just sort of chooses to ignore that Luka actually knows who she is or really isn't thinking about it much because he isn't Cat Noir.

Can I just share my theory? So we know that in Cat Blanc, Adrien/Cat Noir was the one who found out Marinette/Ladybug's identity first. And in this episode, Marinette/Ladybug's found out Adrien/Cat Noir's identity first. So that makes me think if Ladybug and Cat Noir reveal their secret identities at the same time, neither of them will get akumatized or both of them will get akumatized. In 26:55 I always thought that Luka already knows both Adrien and Marinette's identity due to Wishmaker when they were de transformed and when Ladybug asked him that non one knew their identities, he lied while saying nobody did but in his mind he always knew that Marinette was Ladybug?? If there's one thing I appreciate about this episode, it's that Marinette can - and will - reconcile her image of Adrien with her image of Cat Noir; it did shake her up at first, which I think is fair, but ultimately she came around on it. Then in S5, besides outright falling for Cat Noir in the first batch of episodes, she's also seen glimpses of that side of Adrien too - even as early as Risk, honestly Also, Adrien did know Luka was Viperion, considering he stole the Miraculous from him in Miracle Queen; he was also the one who recommended Ladybug give it to Luka heh

Just like Blance Chat I felt like it should’ve been a two part episode. Both felt a bit rushed and time travel is really undermining any consequences for the heroes. Speaking of consequences, Master Fu Really undermined on what would happen if someone used the ladybug and black cat miraculous. In the Robustus episode he basically said it be an equivalent exchange. If Markov wanted to be human some random person would die in order for the wish to be granted. He didn’t say the entire world/universe would be rewritten as well

I can't wait until the reveal stays permanent. I want Adrien to be happy

I don't know...I love the fact that she took the time and asked herself do I really like him or is chat noir the real adrien or not but I hate the fact that adrien was instantly ok with it because even when he was like I still love you he called her one of his closest friends which I'm like so he never thought of her as anything more ok...but then you also have the fact that he never thought about it, he never once thought about can I like one of my best friends as more than a friend he just Said yes after finding out..which makes me question if it was anyone else like marinette would he had said yes like if Ayla wasn't with Nino and she was ladybug and she revealed herself I feel like he would have said yes to...I just hope they do it better next time

From what i got this episode have the same massage as Chat Blanc Gabriel/ Hawkmoth is the reason Chat Noir and Ladybug can't reveal their identities. both episode showed that until Gabriel found out his son is Chat Noir everything was fine, (minus Adrian not actually liking Marinette but Ladybug) it kinda showed what it would be in her perspective if she found out first. until they can defeat Hawkmoth they can reveal who they are but that doesn't mean a new Hawkmoth have the same effect maybe they would know their identities but there wouldn't be a problem in the future.

Okay, but like, if the whole universe was rewritten with Emelie back in it, Ladybug and Chat Noir wouldn't have even existed in the first place, right? Wasn't Gabriel trying to basically make a world where Emelie hadn't gotten sick at all? If you actually go through the chain of events to get her that way, it would probably have started with Master Fu not losing the Miraculouses in the first place, so they probably wouldn't have left the guardian palace thing in the first place. Also, Adrien would have had two parents his entire life, and he'd probably have a way different personality. Ladybug and Cat Noir probably wouldn't have been needed at all, and so Adrien and Marinette would have become very different people because their time as superheroes has definitely changed their personality. Honestly, I doubt they would ever actually get together if things hadn't happened exactly the way they had leading up to now. Idk, just thoughts.
