Use archers from Diplomacy center to destroy Stone walls (that are not hardened). It is very cheap and effective in the beginning. Use suicide squads that are not controlled by you to distract your enemies - they will be slower in development. You played well, strong enemy was busy with you and you helped the team win. The biggest mistake is that you let to rebuild the wall. Other things are the matter of practice and experiments. Good game.

I don’t think we were allowed DCs in this one but that’s a great tip! Do you go the 15 archers then rest shields? Thank you so much for the kind words! Haha yeah forgot to rebuild and lost track of my canons so they got captured 😂 Red carried the game for us though…

You can use Q to see the holes in your walls or walls of the enemies. Try to use more keyboard keys, it will free your head. Put artillery to the front - it is more difficult to control, but will increase damage for the enemy, + it can shoot infantry (I do not know how it is called in English) + you will be less damaged because when your units are too numerous in one place they take big losses from enemy artillery. Bind your units to protect artillery if you are afraid to loose it, but put it to the front.

Thank you so much for all the advice! Q is the one that puts grey/white under all the buildings, right? Remember clicking that on accident and rage-ing because I couldn’t find where to turn it off 😂

Yeah they absolutely do! Expensive upgrades though and they're not to prefer as ranged troops compared to musketeers so that's why I rarely get them.
