Understanding the fact many people won't be able to stay long for completion of course. For a beginner or for people who want to enjoy doing skiing for day or two, it's better to rent out equipment from govt skiing shop ( everyone can rent it out ). if you are a student, They charge rs 150 for one day (upto 4pm) and for others it's Rs 300. Equipment include skis, ski poles, ski boots. Bring your own water proof trousers and jackets. You will find lot of private instructs on sight, they charge rs 500-1000 for two hours (you can always negotiate) @radhika, you re setting a bench mark for alot of girls and boys out there, Your video's are really inspiring and entertaining, I must say you bring out the best in ever place. Thanks for such an informative video. One correction though, I don’t think the slopes you mentioned are 75 degrees at 6:05. They feel steep but definitely way less than 45 degrees.

Hello. Great Information. I have a query like if I do ice ski course form private school/instructor then, I will need certificate of basic course at time of intermediate as you said some are need to learn again basic course just for certification ?

I am 14 yrs and i am best skier in gulmarg phase 2 is basic slope for me and i have recently done advance course and i pay nothing because i go with government youth service and sports
