أَخي لَن تَنالَ العِلمَ إِلّا بِسِتَّةٍ *** سَأُنبيكَ عَن تَفصيلِها بِبَيانِ
ذَكاءٌ وَحِرصٌ وَاِجتِهادٌ وَبُلغَةٌ *** وَصُحبَةُ أُستاذٍ وَطولُ زَمانِ
My brother you will not attain knowledge except by 6 things, I will tell you about them in detail;
1) Intelligence
2) Diligence
3) Hard Work
4) Provisions
5) Accompanying a teacher
6) A long amount of time
As cliché as it may sound however in order to be successful in seeking knowledge it is a MUST that you have the necessary provisions - even if it's small - to carry you through your journey.

Assalaamu Allaikum It's better and much cheaper to buy in bulk A bag of potatoes A bag of rice A bag of onions You can buy whole sheep or meat or part of the whole from Abuko See Gano did it again video on youtube for Gambian made chocolate For travel safety try getting your own car or use a local driver whom you know atleast where he lives, responsible family Gambian person. GET YOUR OWN CAR IS MUCH WORTH WHILE AS YOU STATED AND SAFER WAY. Getting a generator is convenient as electricity could be very unreliable. Much better if you have solar panel A compound with solar panel is much cheaper and ensures electricity availability

And would you know if you can come to gambia by car from europe and keep this car

Subhanallah, listening to all this, the daily life and difficulties faced by yourself, the inconveniences as we'd call them, and the problems there in that town or village which you reside made me see the countless business opportunities and potential that The Gambia has. as a Gambia you are very right but i understand you do not use the way we do it my family has a poultry so we Don't bye egs we buy legume direct at the farm,may allah bless you is not easy

as salamu alaykum what area is the university akhi how far is your travel to and from? i personally like living in morocco where i am now, but going to Gambia to study for some time and returning nay be good in Sha Allah.

Walaykum salām wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu, the University is in an area called "Jambanjelly", I commute there daily by car and it takes approximately 30 mins. Morocco is a beautiful country but the only shortcoming -when I was there in 2017 - was the lack of benefit and study opportunities.
