Hi there my name is Dr Christopher Wilson I’m a professional forex and crypto trader. Are you open to business opportunities? Are you familiar with forex trade?
Things have changed since the first time you moved. It is not possible to live in berlin with 550 euros a month anymore. Minimum rent (for shared WG, with smallest room: 9 sq meters) is aroud 450 euros unless you are very connected to German grandpas who have old housing contracts. The rent is increasing day by day/ I would say, the absolute minimum in 2022, is 900 euros, but you will not have a life -- you will be stuck at home and not be able to go out to restaurants, bars etc. With 1400-1600 euros a month, you can live comfortably. Even students in Berlin, in 2022, end up spending around 1000 euros a month.
Really helpful for expats, not only this video but all of your videos are so informative mate. . Keep educating us and keep growing, Wishing you all the best for your future endeavours👍
Big relief for me because i have seen so many videos over this topic and everything was scary for me because there's no such a information about saving some money in numbers like you did.... Such a great geattttttt video🙏❣️
Really informative. I’m moving to Berlin as a freelancer musician. I’m a singer, songwriter, a melody composer and a singing coach by profession and so I’ll have to come there and start making contacts. These costs have given me a good ball park to play with.
Really helpful and you explained all things so clearly.... I was searching on Quora for 2 days about this and finally came to RU-vid and by watching this all my doubts became Crystal Clear... Btw I'm from India and just Studying in class 12 and planning to come to Germany after 5 years with B Tech in Computer Science
Hi yuvraj Glad to know your aim for the next 5 years...I was also thinking about studying abroad and I also took a B tech Computer Science degree in India ..right now I am in first Year. It would be awesome if we connect in some way or in any other social media platform so that we can get to know each other as someone who has same interest and a proper aim for the next 5 years. I am in WhatsApp, telegram and Discord ...hope you will give a positive respond and we can have a pretty interesting conversation and a lot of exchange in values with each other. From your good friend EXHAUST
I wonder what is the situation in the end of 2022. How did political mess influence on the cost of living? I checked rent in the southeast of Berlin-Brandenburg and price for a flat is around 1000 euro/month (warmmiete). In my country together with my wife we spend 1000 Euro per month for life (food, public transport, cat, medical, beauty, bath chemistry). This doesn't include travelling, mortgage, restaurants, rent, etc, only for necessary things! And my country is much more cheaper, than Germany with almost free of charge gas, electricity and water. Hence, as I'm thinking of moving to Germany, in this case 2500 Euro is necessary only for rent, food, daily commute and live in a modest way without possibility to save extra money, go clubbing, shopping, eat out, buy a car, etc.
Hello Harshad, All your video's are really very brilliant, informative and very helpful. I appreciate your hard work for helping people to know more about Germany. I wish you a huge success in growing your channel....Looking forward for more videos..

Hi sir I have a doubt, I heard that German company provide housing to foreign employee and also cover travel expenses is it true sir??? Waiting for your answer sir!!!
These numbers are on the very lower end (very stingy and think about every penny you spend) cause just eating at a McDonalds or street side will set you back ~10-15 euros. Similarly grocery if chicken is 8 euros a Kg & vegetables are ~ 3 euros etc. how can you do 7 days with 20 euros (he mentions monthly grocery 90 euros) ?
Your video is very informative about the cost of living in Germany! I am thinking about moving to Munich I have a few friends that I know from college who are now living in Munich. How long have you been living in Germany?
Hey do you also pay tax if your only getting stipend and it's just for six months? Please do a cost of living in Bonn. Thank you so much this is so helpful considering it's just for free
Hello, my name is Vikrant. Currently, I am residing in Denmark, but I am considering moving to Munich. I was wondering about the importance of learning the German language, and what the average salary is for heavy truck drivers in Munich. Additionally, could you also provide information about the cost of living in the city?
Hello Harshad! Thank you so much for your nice and informative videos Just an important question i have: I want to come to germany as a master student and i don't have a lot of money, can i find a part time job to support my expenses? How possible it is for a young boy to find a job there?
food - bread milk eggs and rice - some of us would never live with only these foods so I would say your food expenses are incorrect or should say suited for you or others on this diet!
food prices are the lowest in Europe (in comparison), because Germans are not willing to spend much for food. There's a reason why ALDI and LIDL are succesful
I m a German I work in Switzerland. The situation of income and life quality are much much better than those in Germany. That s why there are high demands of jobs in Germany. This is because the Germans leaves Germany to get better jobs and so on outside their homeland.
The income after tax and cost of living described in the video is nearly the same in Beijing🤣 and we are way less developed than Germany, quite absurd😵
Well, you should have mentioned first the optimal apartments sizes like 30-40 meters for single, or 50-80 meters for couple. Living in a shared room or studio is stupid and if you cannot afford a normal apartment you shouldn’t move to Germany at all.
You know it not,Your videos attract a lot of expats due to detailed information within short span .Thank you for the info .One request that you should do more videos regarding the guidance for expats' life
I have a question, do you have to pay taxes if you only go to Germany with a work visa for example 1-2 years and not live there forever, if you go with a work visa for a short period that means you're not a citizen of Germany so do you have to pay taxes in this case?
If you are earning more than a certain threshold (11k for 1st tax class) per year in germany then you have to pay income tax irrespective of your residential status
Tax is calculated in percentage.. and it differs based on tax class. feel free to have a look at settle-germany.com You can also book appointment if you have any doubts or queries! We can discuss over a call!

God bless you... Im planning on going to germany and your video just gave me a good perspective on how things gonna work out... Just one question, can i survive in germany via ausbildung salary?
Everything is great but not the amount range that you mentioned for groceries. I don't agree that one can suffice within that range even with basic food items and after the war it's crazy!
Thanks for this detailed explanation.. i am looking to migrate to Germany as a working professional with family by any chance can u help me with some cities which can be affordable as per cost/standard of living which i should select ?
