Crazy to see how much more expensive renting is now in just two years, so way cheaper than where I live in the burbs of Denver. Looks like a good option for us!

$400 a month for utilities? I pay $150 in Burbank, CA and I thought that was high.

What are annual property taxes for one of the new construction homes near Long Lake that are going for $500K-$600K?

It's determined by the county, but good estimate would be about 1% of the price on an annual basis. So $5000-$6000k/year.

@@LivingSouthOfSeattle There was an initiative passed in CA decades ago that limits the increase of property taxes to 1%annually, so I only pay $3800 a year for my million dollar home. Also cheaper to heat it because of milder winters. Also stores, banks, doctors etc. are closer together, downtown Burbank is within walking distance from neighborhoods. Add that to the fact that I'm too lazy to move.
