Amazing video! Thank for coming to Costa Rica and showed its beauties. You were really lucky to watched two times tapirs, It’s not easy to watch even one time. Regards from a Costarican! Pura vida!
I did this as a half day morning hike and it was insane the amount of animals we saw in such a short period of time! Looks like you were there for a full day and had the guide to yourself? Awesome!
Going on to Costa Rica with family next week! We will be visiting Corcovado and I'll admit that I was feeling pretty anxious about it until I saw your videos. Although my husband would prefer it all to be a surprise because he loves high adventure, I need to know what to expect so I can fully enjoy it. You guys saw a lot of amazing animals. I can't wait to see what awaits us!
It’s one of the best and most memorable adventures I’ve been on! If you embrace the off-grid and more primitive elements, you’ll have a great experience! Safe travels!
At 21:40.. the moving tapir, probably slurping a bug off of its partner.. that totally reminds me of my ten year old monkey of a Shiba Inu, Aki. I find myself at times, telling him to stick his tongue in his mouth, as he thinks he is a hoover vacuum, ingesting whatever crap off of the floor.. though he does eat bugs, too. lol
Een van de prachtigste landen van de hele wereld, vogels die je bijna negens anders aantreft dit alleen al is meer dan een bezoek waard ik ga zeker nogmaals terug.

The baby tapir (@ 4:05) appears to either have scar tissue on his back.. or possibly was shat upon by a large bird. lol. But actually it does look more like scar tissue.
We absolutely loved the overnight. It’s not the most glamorous accommodations - base camp communal living in the jungle. Not your standard hotel type of stay but a wonderful way to really get the immersive Corcovado experience. If you’re comfortable with sometimes being uncomfortable in a base camp type of stay, highly recommend
