two of us were aligning but my helper, my son, did not align andjust let go as i aligned my side. Mine locked in, but his went beside the thing! No way can i get the one side to release so i can realign! i have a back that has been fused and pinned...i should not have done anything, but we only have each other. It was a surprise for him. Some surprise! A new chair we cannot use. The wires for the power part were all wrong, too! I don't know what to do!
This is a good question! I should have covered it in the video. There is no lever to make the footrest lift from the sitting position. The footrest is set to position by using your arms to push back into the chair, this in turn lifts the footrest. I have seen folks without the strength struggle with this task.
