We bought a Vitamix blender at Costco 15 years ago and it is still going strong. I would definitely recommend one! We use it often and have made many things in it.... smoothies, soups, peanut butter, etc. It has been a great investment for my family!

We had a Ninja for years. Someone posted an old school Vitamix on our local Buy Nothing page, and I snagged it... so old, but blends like buttahhh!!! Imagine adding spinach to a smoothie and it being pureed so well that there are absolutely zero, weird leafy chunks. 😅🙌🏼

Kim, I got the VitaMix from Costco in February. I don’t regret it. It really does blend so much better than the other blenders I’ve had. It’s super easy to clean too. I just rinse it out right after I use it.

My family all use the plastic type water bottles but we actually prefer having room temp water. Probably weird I know 😂. We also live in the frigid north of Minnesota so temps aren't getting to 700 degrees here.

Great time to pick up Christmas gifts, the selection is amazing. Definitely not too early to buy Christmas gifts. When my kids were young, I started in July & had it done before thanksgiving. Of course they would add a few things as it got closer.

Love going to Costco with Kim and so interesting to see regional items that we don’t have. I go there to get Dave’s Killer bread and then come out several hundred dollars lighter 🤷🏻‍♀️

I scoffed at Vitamix cost too but after about 7 Nutribullets and a Kitchen Aid and a Ninja that pooped out with daily smoothie making, I took the plunge and got a Vitamix on sale. LOVE IT! No regrets!

Pressed wood furniture doesn't last. Look at antique and used furniture stores for a Buffet, you Do Marketplace-lots of fine furniture on it. Save $100's of dollars and will last so much longer. Costco should so sponsor you. You make it fun to shop there!

Kim the Vitamix is worth EVERY single Penny! Have had mine for years & it’s still working perfectly. Never had an issue with it. I use it to make homemade soups, sauces, peanut butter, smoothies, shred chicken, mix pancakes, muffins, shred cheese. I could go on & on. Take the plunge, you won’t regret it. I’ve heard their customer service is great because nobody ever has to return or have repairs done. What a “screaming deal that is!” As always, thank you for taking us along on your weekly adventures! YES!Yes to Sterns and Foster! I’m probably in your moms age bracket and when my hubby and I bought our Sterns about 28 years ago, it was a primo brand! I was the first in my family to own that quality in bedding. However, we are still sleeping on our mattress which is currently out living it’s quality. It’s time for a new mattress but as we look at the S&F brand we see how the quality is lacking now.

I have to say that the two most expensive items in my kitchen are a Vitamix and my Kitchenaid stand mixer! Now that ive had them for 10ish years, i truly can't imagine my life without them!!! I use my Vitamix for everything! This morning I made a smoothie with a little bit of spinach, some kale, my frozen fruit(s) of the day (berry mix today!) and a few carrots to kick up the sweetness! Yummmm! I've also used it to make soups, frozen "slurpee"-type drinks for the kiddos and frozen adult beverages too! (I've been told I make a mean frozen Margarita!!! Lol!) Bottomline, I do use it quite often and it's still going strong after 10+ years. My old blender couldn't begin to compare. (Oster who???) Thanks for another great video - I always look forward to your Costco vlogs! I'm disabled and don't get out to the stores to just wander around much so I totally LOVE living vicariously through you!!!

I bought a Ninja and sold it after I sliced my finger on the blade. Purchased a Vitamix and couldn't be happier. Also, our Sam's Club has some of the same products Costco sells. Our Costco is about thirty-five miles from us, with Sam's Club only three miles. One thing I wish Costco had was Scan and Go....you're able to scan the bar code and check out without going to a register, makes life so much easier.

Right there with you on trash bags. In my area, it's hard to find non scented, and we don't get them due to the scents being too strong and a migrain trigger for myself. When I was at my local Sam's this weekend, they had a Jalapeño Spinach Artachoke dip. If they have it at the holidays I'm gonna grab it for my husband and his mom since I think they would love that.

Definitely get the vitamix. But get the ascent series because you can get additional attachments for it. I have the single serve container, the dips container, and the food chopper for mine.

I have my Mom's iron skillet and it's so heavy but indestructable. But i niticed the Costco one has a handle on the opposite side, nice to have two handles, easier on the wrists.

I need a crib mattress! My daughter bought a crib for my (Grandma) house! They got it at BuyBuy Baby because they are going out of business! Very nice crib for $50 reg $498! I just need a crib mattress! I saw some 200+ 300+, Grandma doesn’t need a Cadillac version for once in awhile!😮 Buy the mixer bowls!!!

We have those Pyrex mixing bowl, most of the lids are a bit wobbly after a few years of love. In other words they’re good for mixing and salads you’re not tossing 😅

We use those Downey beads (the light scent) and love them. My daughter has very sensitive skin and they do not bother her, and allow her clothes to have the clean scent.

Do they sell Bowles mattresses in Florida. The best mattress I ever slept on. The Savannah 2 mattress only is $895 and fantastic.

I let the membership go because it was just tough to get there at that distance but a new one is being built half that distance for me and I can’t wait! I always wondered about the water bottles too. My MIL absolutely won’t drink anything too cold because of tooth sensitivity- has to be it!

I have had Vitamix and Ninja. I still have my Ninja. All Ninja/Shark products have never failed me. I need bowls too, I might have to go to Costco just for the bowls.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Vitamix! But I got mine through the BX and could do a payment plan. I've had it for years, like 10+, and it still works like brand new. Also, Helix mattresses I hear are great, and you take a quiz to see which one would be good for you and Alex to share.

😂 Kim as much as you cook buy the blender! you know what, buy any blender that you love because you cook so much it's worth it, the price doesn't matter! My mom has all those blenders and dose not really cook anymore but she loves the blenders cuz she loves hers smoothies😅 She did just give that one to my brother because it's too big, but he loves it.

I buy water bottles that aren’t insulated, but I drink my water pretty fast. 😅I drink around 4 liters a day.

I have a Stearns & Foster mattress and box-spring from the 1980s. I'm not even kidding! I was thinking about replacing it, but ended up buying a fancy new 2 inch memory mattress pad instead. Perfect! I'm worried that a whole new bed won't be as comfortable as this is.

Kim, you have to get the vitamix! I broke so many blenders with frozen bananas but not with the vitamix. I make so many things with it especially smoothies. You can make soup too. I use it almost everyday ❤👩‍💻👍🏻

I’ve noticed most of the us schools aren’t Nut free, most of the schools here in the uk are completely Nut free and very strict with it!

Kim, I love my Pyrex mixing bowls with lids... also love my vitamix. I've had it for at least 7 to 8 years. It was expensive but worth every penny. I make everything from nice cream which is healthy ice cream to soups in it... smoothies/ protein shakes almost daily. Make sauces, nut butters almond peanut cashew etc... homemade plant based milks of all kinds... making just the amount I need when i need it. Apple sauce... I know of people who have had theirs for 30 years still running great. I have the 6300 series do not think sell that one anymore... I did see a few on Amazon but almost double price than Costco deal. It took me 2 years of research and thinking that's an outrageous cost! But 1 week in I'm like this is a screaming... deal! (Your words) For me no regrets... zero. Haha It does make one use and get more produce in. But if just want one for basic blending the ninjas are good and reasonable...& work really well. Vitamix Pretty cool making homemade hollandaise sauce to soup cooks it 6 minutes fresh hot soup. That's crazy from soup to ice-cream. I don't think everyone needs one because the best product is one that gets used. As you can see I've found many uses for mine but the point is I do use it often. At times use a few times a day. I didn't know I would use so much when first bought though. Easy clean up to. Their warranties are amazing and stand behind product. Vitamix company has been around since 1921 in 1937 first available blender... made in USA... it sold for like 11 or 12 dollars... that's crazy! Bet they are still running? haha. Read up on it's many uses...I make flours for gluten free stuff like pancakes etc. I really can go on and on regarding uses throughout the years. And I am not even a health nut.
