it’s the little things that excite us as adults, haha. “dang man, you got all that for a great deal! 😅” and now you’re comparing grocery stores prices trying to determine how you can save even more 😂
Also banana bread, banana muffins, banana pancakes/pikelets very easy to use up those old bananas. I freeze them when I can’t be bothered baking on the day before they’re about to turn too bad to use. If you blend oats into a fine flour they are great to use in place of plain flour… extra fibre!
Really wow your Walmart must be expensive I shop Safeway/ Albertsons grocery ads. Then I shop for basics at Walmart and for both stores I pay around or under $200 a week and that's for a family of 4
@@Skiis44 you take things to literally first of all and second if you pay attention before speaking you would see I'm not commenting on the cart picture itself I'm commenting on another persons comment about filling their cart up for certain amount of money and third of all I didn't say anything about a DG only diet. I said your not filling your cart up for less than 300 like that. It's unintelligent individuals such as yourself on why the human race will become extinct instead of thrive.
@@Skiis44 lol I'm not mad. Just next time pay attention and know what your talking about before speaking if you don't know what your talking about then keep it to yourself. Easy as that.
@pacluv in muffin tins add whatever you like onions meat, cheese etc bake them in the oven let them cool and pop em in a freezer bag Microwave to enjoy Plenty of recipes on RU-vid/ other internet sources.
We get a lot of our meat at Costco, then vacuum seal and freeze it: ground beef, chicken thighs, pork loin or chops, mild italian sausage. I usually keep their frozen chicken breasts on hand, as well as salmom or trout filets.
@krissi1234 personally for me it's not to spicy. Especially if you don't put the juice on your food and only give her the kimchi. It's mild not spicy enough for me. But it varies from person to person and especially kids. I would give it a try though
A pro tip with the bananas 🍌! When they go brown slice them up and freeze them and you can use them in smoothies!!! Way cheaper than buying frozen ones! ❤❤❤❤
Tip: keep a container in your freezer for frozen bananas to throw in your smoothies. Oh my goodness they will make them so creamy. Especially chocolate protein powder, some chunks of frozen banana, and a spoon or two of peanut butter. All you do is notice they aren’t going to get eaten, peel them, break them into 3-4 chunks, and put them in the designated banana box in the freezer until you want to put some in your smoothie.
Giada DeLaurentis has a parmesan salmon bites that you might enjoy. It can be kept in the freezer and airfried too. I use to be addicted to it. Nice haul 😊💕
You picked up some great stuff. I shop there once a week. Items for work and on a separate ticket for my items. All the items cost much much more elsewhere. One trip covers the annual fee for the card. Saved us thousands over the years. Just the asparagus, 2 pound bag, $4 - $5, in a local big box supermarket is $5 FOR 1 POUND.
Food I’m the USA is so much more expensive than in the UK - never mind it’s cheaper at Costco - even though ours has gone way up since Russia invaded the Ukraine. Ukraine supplied the bulk of our sunflower oil, wheat and grains. Russia supplied a lot of white fish.
I'm team freeze bananas too. I peel them and break them into chunks and put them in ziplock bags. I can pull out what I need for smoothies that are thicker and more flavorful because i dont have to use ice...
I do that to. Sometimes instead of buying Fresh Strawberries 🍓 or Blueberries 🫐 I get the Frozen bc they're a better deal & work well for smoothies...plus if I want to just eat some I will just put then in a zip lock bag and let them defrost..really good in summer too! The egg bites are a waste. Even at Starbucks they're all frozen & reheated products. I make my own in a muffin tin & add what I want. They're really good. Plus you can freeze then & they keep a week in the hospital.
i live in japan, and let me tell you the meat is really cheap because fruits are considered a delicacy here. fruit is usually bought at costco, it's a better deal (and an hour's drive) but meat isn't very cheap there. we don't get fruit often and substitute it with juices.
Banana hack, before they go bad and when they are nice and ripe, peel them and put them onto a plate, freeze them on the plate (they won't stick together) then the next day put them in a gallon zip lock bag for smoothies and store in the freezer... works great! 🤙🦀🌴
Have to eat those ripe bananas that go bad. 🎉 banana bread is always safe but the brown bananas have tons of flavor!! Adding to pancakes or smoothies will be so yummy! At the very least, peel and freeze them when they start to turn! Love all your videos and you’re adorable family🥹🥰
I dont go to Costco often but when ever i go I usually spend 100$ or up for my family of 2 🤷♀️ . As he said he got 5 bags of frozen chicken it was on sale thats why the bill is lil high but u should not mind how others spend money on their groceries.
Bulk buying bananas... If they are turning black? Freeze them and use them to bake banana bread/muffins or use them for smoothies. Freezing them will look awful but they are good for at least a month.
I was adding this up in my head and came up with $170. I don’t understand how you think you got good deals, you got absolutely hosed. Hope that bottle of grapes and yeast was worth it.
Do you have any sort of Korean grocery store near you? Like an h-mart? Even a Japanese grocery store will have better tasting and better quality kimchi than this Costco one. Also a much bigger jar for cheaper. I find it’s worth it for me to go to the Korean store specifically for kimchi, and I pick up some treats too.
@@albertsmith99 Ain't no such thing as 'free healthcare' unless the doctors actually work for free. You're paying for it ahead of time, and then they make you wait in a long-ass line, because it's """free."""
Hi Ryan! Do you or did you ever experience a moment where you wanted to give up on your channel? What pushed you to continue? I know this question is out of the ordinary but im looking for inspiration to continue my why & im losing it🥲
I like to freeze my fresh fruits and vegetables if I feel they’re about to go bad and then use them in smoothies! That way I don’t feel bad about having them go bad bad throwing them out.
I found the kimchi to be disappointing. It tasted like something artificial was added - I think it was an artificial sweetener - not sure why. Lesson learned - make the effort to hit up a Korean market to get the OG stuff - at least a few kinds of kimchi plus many ban Chan are offered at very good prices. Yes on the lamb loin chops - great in the grill.
Costco is great and we also have 2 kids but some things are really not necessarily the best to purchase there. If you’ve gone this long without a membership then you already know this!
